I'd like to take back my review on the iced coffee... by now I've tasted better and for sure I've paid less for an iced coffee. If you must, you won't spit it out.

Go for the iced coffee. No, seriously. Their iced coffee cannot be duplicated. I can't seem to find any that measure up, as I'm always looking. The restaurant is just "meh" and I'm never very satisfied, but the iced coffee, ooooooooohhh baby.

I'm giving this a 4, even though it most likely is a 3.5, but just as a way of comparing the menu and quality of Mooncake Foods to the rest of the restaurants around Penn Station, it's getting the 4. I've been a dozen times and only once left a bit unhappy. Those are pretty good odds, right? Anyway, echo the miso salmon. It's pretty yum. It's a good place to go when you have a bunch of eaters too because the menu has a good range. I'll say that the lunch rush is pretty nuts so if you go on the later side you may end up happier.

Meh is right. Meh indeed. I was kind of hoping for fresh tasting food but instead I got blah tasting food. Hubs wasn't too pleased either. I tried the Kobe burger and I guess I should've known better but he tried one of the bowls and we but just ended up walking out feeling like we'd made a grave mistake. Disappointment.

I love me some Gabriel. I actually can't believe I've not reviewed him before because it's been like 3 years. I have had all types of terrible hair experiences, there was the strawberry shortcake hair color and the left side is waaaay different than the right side haircut (maybe you're thinking I'm some super hipster that asked for that style, but you'd be wrong). The great thing about G is that I never have to worry, and if I furrow a brow or break a tiny sweat, it's only in anticipation for how good my hair will look and how many compliments I'll get. Hats off to Gabriel. Not only is he a master with scissors, he's fun to gab with which makes the entire experience complete. I look forward to my haircuts.

I have something to admit. I'm a taco addict. Yes, it's true, I'm borderline obsessive, but not in an overly snobby, "I won't eat from that place" kind of way. I mostly just love tacos so much I want to eat them all the time, and from every restaurant that I can. This is why I'm so glad that Loading Dock is close enough to my house that they will deliver. Even their delivered tacos were a hit. I'm a fan of the carne asada and the fish is a treat as well. Now I am not going to get super critical on this place but just know that it's solid from a taco lover's standpoint.

Disclosure: I am not a snobby foodie crazed maniac who lives and dies to critique the food I consume on a daily basis. I'm as happy in a 5 star restaurant as I am in the diner down the street. That is all.

Three letters: Y - U - M.

When roaming the streets looking for a sweet treat, look no further than Blue Marble. While it's cramped quarters for sure, dive in, grab up your favorite flavor (of which, there are interesting ones to choose from) and jump back out and you will no doubt be satisfied.

My mouth is watering just thinking about it now...

I'm still a fan of this joint, in FACT, I moved to Dumbo just so that I can live closer to its glory. [not true]  I just figured that my review needed updating. I'm not even eating sushi right now because I have the condition called "with child syndrome" otherwise known as pregnancy, but husband [of former boyfriend fame] and I went for dinner just last night and had non-sushi entrees and were totally satisfied.  T minus 8 weeks until I can have some sushi, so they better watch themselves.

    Pretty solid sushi.

My mans is doin' the 9-5 thang down in the hood o' DUMBO and we frequent this joint if he gotz to be werkin' lizate or if I visit his fine ass fo' lunch.

Ok, I was channeling a friend... anyway.  Miso has pretty decent sushi and even though their prices may be a little more than you want to pay, it's worth it.  Outsanding sweet potato tempura roll.  The chili garlic shrimp entree is also delightful.  In fact, I was here the other night and really enjoyed myself.  Yum!

Lovely hotel experience. Great location in Pittsburgh. The staff were super friendly and helpful and were WAY nice when I left my phone charger in the room after checkout. Our flight was leaving hours after we checked out and they locked up our bags. Went to a wedding here and the food was great and all the facilities were well maintained. I was delightfully surprised.

Someone below described these dudes as moving ninjas and I'm just not sure anything else fits.  We were moving this past Monday and were scheduled for the 1-3 pm arrival slot, at 11:30 am I got a call that they could get started now if we'd take them -- obviously we were like, "let's get this thing going!"

Wes and his crew were super professional and all business.  They were all very respectful of the items we told them were either expensive or sentimental and we never felt like we were bossing them around.  It felt like friends were helping us move.  I doubt any of our friends would bust their asses this hard for us.

Their estimate was the cheapest we'd found and it was accurate.

Yay moving!  Now I don't want to do it again for at least 5 more years.  I need a nap and a dip in a hot tub.
