Between friendly and prompt correspondence via email and a staff member pouring blood sweet in tears into finding an obscure bottle of syrup in the back room for me you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I enjoy wine but I LOVE cocktails. So I was happy to see the spirits section has been growing steadily while still feeling highly curated. There is also a nice section of bitters and syrups behind the register.

Rik helped me navigate the inspection of our first home with a great deal of confidence. He was willing to go into detail about whatever I scratched my head at and in a way that wasn't over my head or intimidating. Rik was also willing to go the extra mile to ensure a full inspection despite some unforeseen roadblocks to accessing every nook and cranny of the condo. Most importantly his inspection has proven accurate after months of living in the new place. I would be happy hire him again and recommend him to others.

Opening weekend and in our neighborhood so we couldn't resist stopping by. This place is a site to see. I barely spoke to anyone and didn't buy anything but it still gets 4 stars for the sheer "wow" factor. It is pricey but exceptionally curated and inspiring for those getting into this kind of stuff. Even if you have looked through their selection at the Alameda Antiques Fair the warehouse takes it a step further.

PS - Parkside is next door to drink away the hole Big Daddy's might leave in your wallet.

Beautiful pieces here. The showroom is a must visit even if you aren't in the market. I had a great experience getting a bench down to the SF store from Seattle. The folks are as nice as the furniture. While the prices might look out of reach at first, there seems to be an occasional piece that is on the less expensive side. Just keep your eyes on the site.

I love Tanner Goods (best belts ever), who I believe operates this shop. Nice selection of menswear with a workwear slant, and of course more Tanner Goods products than you can shake a stick at. Will definitely stop in every time I visit Portland.

Post-streetwear its nice to see places like this emerge from the dust as a fixture for doing what you always have done, and doing it well. Their art/design/fashion/culture blog is really well maintained to boot. Fun place to go look around even if you aren't buying.

Been to the one in NYC many times over. The LA shop has a much more interesting lay out with a lot of small/medium/large rooms. This allows them to create a considerable more curated / featured experience than in NYC. Its fun to poke around and explore.

So if you are like me and wrote the LA shop off on a few trips because you have seen it in NYC... don't do that. Its pretty damn cool weather you are on a mission to shop or just killing time.

SF really needed a store like this. Visited last night for the first time and was instantly smitten. I love when boutiques feel curated and focused. I was worried it was going to be a shop over-focused on the workwear trend... But at Unionmade it is obviously about the history and deep knowledge of the brands they stock. Walking around in here was like a lesson. They are definitely focused on a high quality, classic / timeless look with a few nice surprises sprinkled in. Love finding pieces that I  would have missed in other contexts.

Oh MAN, longest wait of my life. We are talking levels of absurdity higher than anything I was prepared for. The food delivered though. I was astonished. Its some of my favorite sushi in the city, for both the rolls and fish. Im bringing a snickers bar next time and not having as many beers while I wait.
