Just saw the Grand Ole Opry here and it was incredible. Front row balcony was terrific seating. Such a historic venue. As other yelpers have said - definitely see a show here if you have the opportunity. It's so worth it.

Arrived around 9pm on a Friday night. The neighborhood, as well as the hotel, was like a ghost town. The Starbucks in the lobby was closed. The lobby bar was empty and/or was closed. There is a restaurant bar and grill just past the lobby, and there were a handful of people at the bar. There is an Au Bon Pain and a Cosi restaurant practically just across the street which were open. No one was on the street at that hour and maybe 3 or 4 people in each restaurant. All other local shops were closed. Not much else really in walking distance. BORING.
The hotel itself is nice. Had a room on the 22nd floor with very nice views. Super comfortable bed with lots of different pillow types to choose from. Large flat screen TV. Everything was very clean and comfortable. However, internet is $13/day. The water pressure in the shower was very lacking. The sink area which is outside of the bathroom is very small with strange spotlight lighting. And you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway, every door that's being open or shut, every person that walks down the hall, etc.

It was not the best slice of pizza I've ever had. It was also not the worst. It had a very thin crust with chewy ends which I like. It was a little skimpy on the cheese, and the cheese was a little rubbery, which I don't like. The slice itself seemed to be a little bit smaller in size than average. But it was decent pizza. For a buck and small change, I can overlook it's shortcomings and appreciate it for what it is - CHEAP EATS. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if I'm in the area and want a quick cheap bite, I would go back.
The decor is cozy and comfortable and the servers are super nice and attentive. They have a really great lunch special here that includes soup or salad, entree with sides, and then coffee and dessert for one very reasonable price. I started out with a good sized salad of mixed greens tossed with the house vinaigrette dressing. Then I had chicken breast cooked in a white wine butter sauce with artichoke hearts, accompanied by fried potato wedges and mixed vegetables. The food was delicious. The sauces were very rich and the portions were a good size - not too small to leave you hungry, yet not too big so you couldn't finish or wanted to take your meal home with you. I ended my lunch with a cappuccino. All for about $12.00. Not bad at all. I enjoyed it much better than if we had gone to a local Applebee's or Friday's or similar chain restaurant.
I would definitely come back here again.

We went for an 8pm dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed! They valet all cars and there was a good sized line of cars at the valet. It's probably a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation. I now know this for the next time I go here. They have two rooms. A larger dining room to the left of the entrance, and then a smaller dining room with a bar to the right. We hung out at the bar for almost an hour until they had a table ready. Every single table was full the entire time we were waiting. They give you olives to munch on at the bar.
Since it's a Greek restaurant, I had to try their Greek wines. Unfortunately, when I asked the bartender about the wines, she wasn't very helpful at all and had almost no knowledge about them. The Nasiakos Moschofilero is super light and very dry. It's almost flavorless. The Kouros White Blend, also from Greece, is sweeter, a bit heavier, with fruity and floral overtones to it. I definitely preferred the Moschofilero which went really well with my grilled fish.
The Oysters Rockefeller were amazing! They were heavier on the spinach and lighter on the cheese, but pure yummy. The Lump Crab Meat Cocktail was a martini glass full of hearty chunks of jumbo lump crab meat, and was delicious also.
Whole grilled fish are one of their specialties so I had to try that. I had the Grilled Branzino since I had never tried that kind of fish before. It was served with a lemon roasted potato and green beans. Branzino is a European Sea Bass. It's a lean white fish with moist tender flakes. Everything was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Grilled Lobster with Crabmeat Stuffing. He was extremely pleased with it.
We were so stuffed after eating so skipped desserts. On the way out, I noticed a container of individually wrapped mints. I tasted one and found out that they were Ouzo mints. So good! Don't miss the mints on your way out!
I can't wait to go back and try more of the excellent food here. It's a great atmosphere. Nice casual yet classy decor. Very comfortable vibe. Definitely a hidden gem.

8pm on a Friday night and the place is completely full. Not an empty seat in the house. Luckily a table in the corner clears just after we get there. Unfortunately, the tables are so packed together that I have a mere 6 inches or so of space to literally squeeze through to get to my seat.
We ordered the mixed olives, cheese plate with 2 cheeses and chorizo, and the ham and cheese fritters. We didn't enjoy the fritters, they just tasted like slightly overcooked spicy fried dough - where was the ham and cheese? The olives were nicely coated in oil, herbs, and spices, and were enjoyable. The cheese board was a pretty unremarkable presentation, just 2 small slices of cheese on the board along with a small pile of sliced sausage - blah.
The atmosphere is nice and by 10pm the place starts to get less crowded so it's more comfortable. The wines are good.
