Great salads and authentic Italian pizza and gelato. I'd give it five stars, but I don't understand why it doesn't have waiter service. It is kind of a logistical nightmare to try and wait on yourself at this restaurant. It's hard to carry your salad, make your own drink, and get all the plates and utensils you'll need for your pizza. You just have to work too hard here.

La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

I love their salsa. It's warm and sweet and vinegary. They also have the best refried beans & guacamole. This place has its own unique flavor. It doesn't taste like every other Mexican restaurant.
I just really liked the atmosphere. That's everything in a bar as far as I'm concerned.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The menu sounded great. My food was just kinda good, no where near great.
They forgot to give me something I ordered, and I had forgotten, too, until she gave it to me in a To-Go box with the check and still charged me for it. When I politely told her I didn't want it anymore and would like it taken off my check she seemed perturbed. I didn't understand her attitude. I didn't order it to-go, and why would I want something after the meal is done?

This place has one of the best burgers I've ever put in my mouth and I love that they're small. The prices are more than reasonable. It's a dive that's been around since the '20's, which gives it the perfect atmosphere to eat a cheap, greasy, wonderful burger.
If I lived in Austin this is where I'd be getting my burger fix.

I had enchiladas and my friend had tacos. I thought both were excellent and it didn't taste like typical Tex-Mex to me (although I'm from Little Rock, so maybe I'm out of the loop on that). I was absolutely ravenous when I ate there (maybe that influenced how much I liked it?), but was shocked when I got on yelp and found that it averaged only 3 stars.
I loved the margarita I had, it wasn't too sweet like most, but I felt like it was gone after 3 sips. Good atmosphere, good service, & good food were what I experienced.

I liked it fine. I'm not going to hurry back, but I wouldn't wince if someone wanted to meet for lunch there.
Why don't I eat here more? One of Little Rock's best. Good atmosphere and truly an original.

I ate here all the time when I lived closer. I'd eat here more if my husband liked it as much as me. My favorites are the veggie and it's Greek to me, but you really can't go wrong here. Oh, and the deserts are good, too.
Always good. Whopper Junior with cheese rocks. This location is dependable.
