This place is the scungiest rathole ever. I frankly am astonished that anyone ever rated this place with two stars, let alone 5. Had I known this place was going to resemble a dumpster so completely, I'd have allowed my munchies after the Pinnacles hike to be stayed until I could get to somewhere that wouldn't have me guzzling Pepto-Bismol in ferocious quantities afterwards.

This place is okay for a burrito when out-of-towners are visiting. I work around the corner, but almost never go to lunch here. The vegetarian burrito is okay, the salsa very gringological, and the chips are fine.

Do not shop at this gargantuan Whole Foods before dinner. Don't do it on an empty stomach. The selection is too large and the premium products sold here are priced accordingly.

There's a dizzying selection of delicious lunchables here, and I think I might be the only person allowed through the door that isn't a yoga teacher. I love Whole Foods, especially since the expensive 500 calorie lunch here costs less than a burrito at Mexico au Parc.

In an area where the only shoe store listed in the phone book is Payless (yeah, right), this unexpected find across the way from the age old K-Mart stocks a growing selection of real gear -- Vasque, Merrell, Mountain Hardwear, Patagonia.
We found exactly what we were looking for there and Ken, the owner, was very helpful in selecting good shoes and clothing.
I will definitely be back, probably about every time I visit the area (which is three or four times a year).

How is it that my one friend with a serious Italian name, who definitely cannot be mistaken for anything but Italian, always invites us to fucking Buca and Olive Garden? Where's your pride, man?
This place is like a fake Italian kitschgasm, a combination of Gotti and Lounge Singer, with food that reminds you that nobody who knows a fucking thing about Italian food would pay good money to eat in this tragic waste of good commercial shopping space.
I don't hate anyone enough to recommend Buca di Beppo to. I'm just glad I brought my chewable Pepto-Bismol tablets.

This place has the most mediocre sauce ever to come out of a tin can. Ford Pinto quality with BMW 325 prices. I'm really flabbergasted this places is rated so highly.
The only thing Italian about this place is that they were playing Sinatra on the speakers. The ambience was greasy spoon, the food tasted like anus, and the place was full of noisy bastards. What a scungy hovel.

What an awesome store. The selection at the former Tower was bland, unadventurous. The selection at the new Rasputin shows that they just really love music.
The jazz section is huge. I found recently rereleased Rudy Van Gelder Edition remasters from artists like John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Milt Jackson, Sonny Stitt, Dexter Gordon, Oscar Peterson, and a whole ton of others. (For really really cheap).
I know where I can buy records nearby now. Awesome!
