I'm just not a fan of the Palo Alto lunch crowd, period... but I enjoy a sandwich from Whole Foods made by Louis! If you ever get a chance to order from him at the Deli, you'll come back with a sandwich tweaked to your delight, the option of getting your sandwich toasted to perfection, and he'll even ask you for your sandwich club card so he can stamp it. Oh, you don't have one? He'll give you one!
The other staff might not be so willing to accommodate- yesterday I went in for the same sandwich as I did today and no one offered to toast it, or stamp my card, or tell me to have a good day.
Good customer service goes far in my book. I really appreciated his attention to customer satisfaction.

I only went to this place because it is down the street from where I get oil changes for my car, but I would never go back here. All I wanted was a clean car, and I understand that you get what you pay for. I'm fine with that. So I got a simple car wash and wax package for 20-30 bucks.
While I wasn't expecting high-class detailing for the price I paid, I also did NOT expect to get my black scion back with a ruined clear coat.
Now, there are swirl marks all over the doors and when the car is completely cleaned, it looks gray and has absolutely NO shine.
Never again. Not even if it was free.

Crème Brûlée Cart.... can you just, post shop right outside my door?
Because honestly, nothing would make me more happy than to have one of your Bailey's or Vanilla Bean (or both) flavored treats every morning before I went to work, and every evening when I came back. At $3 a pop, you are so worth it.
And for the rest of the you who haven't discovered him yet, its worth it to follow him on Twitter and find him around the city. No fancy restaurant version, just classic delight.

I would give it 3 stars if there were more Cuban or PR restaurants in the city to which I could compare this one to, but there aren't. So 4 stars it is. Because honestly, I enjoy dining here.
They have this great chicken dish thats covered in some sort of green sauce. A little on the salty side, but pretty tasty otherwise. Standard rice and beans.
Do NOT, and i repeat, DO NOT, respond with "salad" when asked for "salad or soup"... it is the most bare salad i've ever been served, and they don't even offer dressing. At most, some olive oil and pepper. The soup, on the otherhand, is delicious and absolutely bread-dip worthy.
The city needs more Cuban restaurants... i long for Bistec de Palomilla done the right way.

I've dubbed my new (old) Powerbook G4 "Frankenstein", and the guys at PBG the "mad scientists"!!! They are amazing. I cannot be more thankful that they are here in the city. They've managed to revive my laptop (failed/failing hard drive, could not turn on without being plugged into the wall, etc.) and turn it into the laptop i long ago fell in love with, and have fallen in love with again!
Service provided: ran a full diagnostic of my laptop, fixed a loose battery connector, recovered all the data from my old hard drive and transferred it to my new, faster hard drive, completed repair in a timely fashion, and did this all for an extremely reasonable price.
I'm also happy to say that my customer service at PBG was courteous, efficient, and straight to the point. I brought my laptop in Saturday, and just got it back a couple of hours ago, as promised. My experience at the Genius Bar could not compare.
I cannot emphasize how much I truly recommend Powerbook Guy.

Yummy cheesesteaks, and they also have a really good deal for approx. $6.50 that includes a 1/4lb. cheeseburger, a basket of fries, and soda! Numerous kinds of fries too, haven't tried any of the special ones like garlic fries, but looking forward to. This place gets overlooked but if you are ever in the area, you should definitely stop. Its guaranteed taste-bud worthy.

A red-velvet cupcake is a red-velvet cupcake, delicious in its own right, always worth the cost. At $2.50 a cupcake, I have often found myself subconsciously driving towards Noe Valley Bakery when craving one. In honest, its not 'thee absolute' best I've ever had, but they certainly do the cupcake justice! They have an adorable 'ice cream cone cookie' that is tasty too.
Strawberry Romanoff cake is absolutely delicious, and the cake itself looks absolutely decadent and stunning, like any good celebration cake should look. But the cake is light, moist, and fluffy, and sweet without being overly so. My only qualm about Schubert's is the location, and the near impossible parking. I had to double park and turn the hazards on for 3 min. as I rushed in to pick-up a pre-ordered birthday cake. Regardless, I give it 5 stars because the cake itself is worth any hassle. I will continue to order cakes from Schubert's again, and again.

First-timer as a recent transplant from LA and found Edo via all the Yelp reviews. i was able to book a last-minute appointment and get my hair cut on the same day by the adorable Sarah. she knew exactly what needed to be done to my hair, was thorough, efficient, great conversation, and even took me early since her appointment before me was very late and i had gotten there thirty minutes early. my hair looks fantastic, the layers have been brought back, the overgrowth cut off, lightened up the bulk, and gave my bangs their style back. the extra bonus is the art work that hangs on their walls that changes every 4-6 weeks i believe. great location too. i will definitely be back for cut and color in a couple of months.

Being from LA where tanning beds run aplenty, it's refreshing to find a quality tanning salon that is clean, friendly, and with reasonable pricing. As long as I continue to work in Palo Alto, I'm going to keep coming back to APT for all my tanning needs.
