Tasty and fast. A little pricey, but the restaurant is clean and modern. The kids' meals were a hit! A really nice option for Indian food. Plenty of rice to go with the dishes which is a plus in my book!

Rosa's Cafe

Went here with my wife and kids for a quick meal. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Just decent Tex-Mex, really good tortillas, and quick service. We had ordered our food, sat down and gotten our soft drinks and salsas and our order was ready. It's nothing spectacular, but the self-serve salsa bar with onions, cilantro, and jalapeños kick it up a level. Rosa's is a good option if you need it quick, but I'd rather go to a regular Mexican restaurant if I have more time.

Kung Fu Buffet

Food here is just ok. Nothing great, just average for a Chinese buffet. The sushi wasn't very good, with only three rolls to choose from. I'd give it two stars based on the food, but the service was great, and the price was right.

Domenick's Pizzeria - CLOSED

Very nice owners! They greeted my son and I when we walked in the door, then explained to us about their history, the paintings on the wall, and anything else you'd like to know about them! We ordered a pizza and ravioli and they were both delicious. The pizza was thin crust and large. If you like NY pizza, you'll love Domenick's. Like Keri, I was surprised that there was no space on the bill to leave a tip (we dined in). I left an inadequate tip from the cash I had in my wallet and felt a little bad about that. My wife prefers thicker, chewy crusts, so I'll have to come back when it's bachelor day.

Embassy Suites

The room here was great. Lots of space, very clean, great amenities. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave 2 tv's. The indoor pool was fun for the kids, and the large indoor courtyard was great. Breakfast was really good. Omelet bar, biscuits n gravy, pancakes, bacon, sausage, fruit, English muffins, bagels etc. Saw lots of ppl enjoying the happy hour in the evening as well. Popcorn for the kids too!

The room was very quiet. There was a reunion going on in the hotel, and lots of ppl were hanging out near our door. I could hear them having a good time while I was watching tv in our room by the door, but in the bedroom, with the door closed, I couldn't hear them at all. It would have been a bummer if I had to call the front desk and have them tell the guests out there to quiet down, so I was happy at how quiet it was in the bedroom.

The location is convenient, and the front-desk staff was really helpful and professional. Although the building seems a little old and dated, the technology was nice. They have a touchscreen directory in front, and environmentally friendly coffee in the rooms. Very nice small touches. If we are staying in Dallas again, this Embassy Suites is at the top of our list!

Dan Sung Sa

We went to Dan Sung Sa at about 5pm on a Saturday evening. It really looked like a fun izakaya, although since we arrived early (with our two kids), we were the only patrons there. We are used to Japanese izakaya's small portions where you can order many dishes to accompany your drinks. The portions here, however, were really large! Just keep that in mind when ordering, because your table will fill up fast with large dishes.

The food was tasty, although nothing really fantastic. Seems like it would be a really fun place to hang out with your friends and eat drink and karaoke!

As a first-timer to this hole-in-the-wall, it was a little difficult to order. The food looked and smelled wonderful, but do we order the lunch plate, special or some other combination? Luckily, when we went it was not busy (around 4pm) so the girl who was helping us could be patient. The family who runs the place is Japanese, so the food has authentic roots. My wife spoke Japanese to the main cook (owner?) and his daughter who helped us, and recommended some dishes. We got miso butterfish, ahi, mahi mahi, nishime, kimchee, katsu, mac, and it was all great! I'd definitely recommend this place, but the lack of parking would make it difficult at lunchtime.

Tasty Crust Restaurant

Went here with my family when I was a kid and decided to go again. I got the opakapaka lunch which was tasty. The fish came with two scoops of rice and mac. My son got the hamburger steak which was good and came with two large patties and gravy. My wife ordered the breakfast loco moco which was served in a big bowl for only $4.25. For my youngest son, we ordered a la carte: vienna sausages, french fries, and a scoop of rice. It was the perfect meal for him! And we also shared one pancake, which was huge and fluffy. The kids also got POG (passion orange guava). All the food was yummy. Not fancy or anything, but real local and good. It was just the kind of place I was looking to go to!!

Lots of locals eating here, and the wait staff was really friendly.

Another reason why I love living in Cedar Park. The post office is fast. Even when the line is long, it seems to move on at a quick pace. The workers here are really nice too. If you have a package waiting there for you, you can go there before work (7am-ish) and ring the doorbell and they will bring the package for you. When I lived in Wells Branch, I used to dread going to the Bluebonnet station. But the Cedar Park station is the exact opposite! I love it.

Cedar Park Public Library

I visit the Cedar Park Library at least once a week. Everything is so convenient. You can self-checkout your materials, and the system will send you an email with the details of what you checked out and the due date. You can also renew  online, check availability of items and put items on hold. They have a good children's section and a decent movie/cd area. And they have audio-books too! The anime section is surprisingly good. I guess this is due to the local anime club which meets at the library. There are plenty of computers for browsing, and free wi-fi. The parking lot is big and it is never crowded. The library is one of the reasons I love living in Cedar Park!
