The brunches here are amazing. The veggie turkey bacon is unreal as is the veggie eggs benidict. The polennta dish I ahd at dinner was equally as wonderful - a great place for veggie and non-veggie eaters (my fav type of restaurant).

I'm down with Masa. They have a pretty decent selection across the board of items. They never blow me away but if I'm looking for some comfort food I know exactly where to go. They really do a good job in general. There is lots of veggie options (not really vegan friendly) - love the MA\asa Penne for dinner and the egg whites & basil dish for breakfast.

Yea they are slow to arrive and the lines are always long, but that is just because the food is so outrageously good. A seriously amazing combo of tastes and ingredients - if you are impatient you'll get mad. If not you'll enjoy yourself and be treated to a great meal. So, stop complaining I guess? Only in L.A. would this exist.

Just went here last night and absolutley loved it. Vegetarian so I only had the veggie-brat but it was great. Their sauces are amazing (mustard and dipping) and the fries were divine. Washed down with a beer (their selection is massive and radical) I expect myself to be fattening up soon.

I only ever get coffee here but it is real good. I drink it slowly through out the day - eventually it goes cold but it still tastes good. That is the sign of a good brew.

Two tips:

- If you want soy, don't ask at the counter. You can ask the guys making your coffee and save $0.50
- Put some chocolate powder in it instead of sugar. It is good quality and tasty.

The veggie sandwhich here is radical. Sprouts, avocado, tomato, cheese - the works. Really nice ingredients and great bread for it all. Great tasting mustard. My only complaint is that it barely fits in your mouth it is so big!

Round it out with the potato salad (one of the better ones I've had in LA - has a nice pickled flavor) and an Arnold Palmer and you have yourself a great lunch that is filling and satisfying. Hollllller

Sometimes it takes a friend to alert you to a great spot. I always wanted to check out The Kitchen but for whatever reason never did - thankfully my buddies took me there a week ago and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted/needed after a long Sunday of softball in the sun.

Comfort food is the word that comes to mind for this place more readily than anything else - the Mac n' Cheese is delicious and the Ponzu Tofu (my meat eating friends got Ponzu Albacore) was savory and filling. Arnold Palmers were ordered all around and better than usual. The food was very filling and the ingredients seemed fresh to my eyes/mouth.

I didn't find it to be too overpriced for what we got (two starters split between 5 and a full meal) but everyone has their own opinion on how to spend their moneys. Every time dinner creeps around now and I am STARVING (meaning really hungry) this place comes to mind first.

Went here after reading about in the LA Weekly and it didn't disappoint. The service was wonderful and our waitress was very excited that we were new to the place, which is always nice. I had the aqua fresca which was incredibly refreshing - chose papaya and lemon juices. We split an order of TACOS DORADOS and an order of DOBLADITAS de MOLE and both were excellent. The potato tacos tasted like mashed potatoes in a taco and the mole sauce was as good as promised. A great find and I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm pretty down with this spot. Relatively cheap, GREAT service, some real tasty dishes, and delicious drinks. I like that they only serve Soju - pushes me to step outside my normal drinking bounds. The Peanut Noodle was delicious as were the vegetable dumplings and the sauted mushrooms. Solid veggie options!

I'm down with the Coffee Table - I went there for the first time today and had a tofu scramble and it was real nice. The tofu was cooked well and tasty - everything seemed really fresh. The back patio is the jam for sure. Coffee was good as well. Definitely will be coming back.
