Current CrushIt's like that scene in Zombieland where they go to the abandoned store to look for twinkies only without all the blood and guts.

This is not a bad little neighborhood grocery store.
There is one major issue with this store. Parking is atrocious.

Everyone tells me how awesome the drunken chicken is the shizzle, but it seems like it's not in the cards for me.
Bastardos!!! I want my DRUNKEN CHICKEN!!!!
Definitely a place to hangout after work.... But, I'm not going to be taking the wife here anytime soon. She'd kill me if I did.
But, I hated my entire time there. It was something about the layout of the room and where we sat in the bar. So, most likely my fault. I'm going back for a happy hour soon to give it another try.

The overall experience was professional, pleasant and easy going. Our sales person Abe Barka is a seasoned sales professional that handled us with care and respect. Yet, we never felt as if we were being "handled".
There was none of the typical grandstanding or theatrics one usually gets with car salesmen. At some point I kept waiting for him to do the the whole "I need to talk to my manager about this or that or the other thing". Where he would then go off into some closed door meeting and smoke a cigarette with the other sales people laughing at us, and then come out and make up some other excuse as to why they can't give me what I want for my trade in. I mean the wife and I even had a good cop, bad cop (she being the bad cop) routine ready to go at a moments notice. But, that routine wasn't necessary.
Which kind of disappointed us. I mean we had it all worked out. She was going to become really stubborn about such and such option we wanted and we were going to stall the whole damn process. But, as I have been saying this whole time. Abe treated us with respect and care and didn't waste our time with any sales "tactics". We negotiated a fair price for my trade in, we settled on the car model, make and color that we wanted, made a nice down payment and got the financing with the low APR we wanted and walked away with a new Subaru Outback.
After one test drive and a few short hours the wife and I were driving off the lot with our new car... in utter disbelief that we had this good of an experience.

So, we won't count it.
The second time I came here I was fairly impressed and really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken. Considering that I'm 1/4 Indo and have spent years gorging myself on my Indonesian Oma's cooking I thought I was somewhat qualified to judge this dish. Also, this time around there was no argument with the gf and we had her sisters 3 kids with us as well. And let me tell you that if a 10, 8 and a 4 year old like the food here then it's got to be pretty good.
Now, the third time I came here the gf is now the WIFE and we were 100% kid free and argument free. We were able to enjoy a proper sit down meal here and I have to say that I really, truly enjoyed it. The menu is fairly extensive and covers a wide range of Asian cuisine. All of which they do really well.
I definitely recommend that you try this place if you are in the area.
Oh. One more thing. Kathryn Robinson, Famed food critic of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine... the gal who picks the top 10 restaurant lists... said one Tom Douglas' radio show that this place has some of the best Crab dishes in Washington.
All I know is that I've been there 3 times this week already and I'm pretty much hooked. There's plenty of variety, pricing it pretty decent, service has always been attentive and the location is convenient with plenty of parking.
What more can you ask for?
