It always amazes me when you live somewhere your entire life and find something so great nearby that you never heard of.  How does that happen?

Well, I'm glad it did.  My friend and I have been trying to get together to hike, exercise and have the meeting of the minds to discuss the male Psyche.  Yep, you know!!!!  Anyways, she suggested Lindo Lake.

It's a straight shot if you live out in East County, off the 67.  I hardly ever go to Lakeside and loved the little drive down Maine street onto Lakeshore Drive.

This park is so clean, open, paths everywhere, play areas and get this.  WORKOUT AREA with rowing machines, ab machines, bike and so much more.  Do you know how happy I was to get a workout while enjoying the fresh air.  Oh wait!  there's more!  I noticed tennis courts and fishing.  I love this place!

So!!! Did we figure out the male Psyche? NO!  But this place was definitely good for our own peace of mind.  : )

The 2-stars is for the cheese biscuit's.  Other than that the food was much to heavy in butter & sauces, place was so loud I was yelling across the table and our waiter looked like he had been up all night having drinks in the bar.  

Best bet: Sit in the bar, order a drink and ask for a basket of biscuits!

What more do I need to say other than : Abbey Catering won't let you down.

Whether it's a holiday party, wedding reception, baby shower,  a surprise birthday party or even a bachelor party,  I highly recommend Cuvier Club Venue.  It is spacious enough that between the stage and the floor there could be a whole lot of shak'in goin on!!!!!!  SwankYYY!

Employees were very nice and Easy on the Eye!

I could go on and on but Patty C and & I still looking for the person who sat on the photo copier naked!!!!!!   With that said I would like to say thank you to the person who called at 1am to say they had found the culprit.  : )

Do I like it? Yes!  Do I love it? No!

3-star reviews are always difficult for me because it hits right in the middle usually teetering a little bit into another star.  I would say right around 3.5 for me

The egg rolls were crisp & fresh and served HOT!  

The Pho was okay.  More on the watery side with not alot of consistency but Nevertheless is was good.  Not Great!  Good!

Our server was pleasant and at our table every 4-5 minutes for a water refill

No worries about parking.  Pho Joy is located in a strip mall with plenty of it.

Price - Fair.  I've had less expensive and paid more so a little above fair.

Pho is my favorite so maybe I'm becoming a Pho snob,  but I do think I'm beginning to learn where the better Pho is served.  

By the way, today looks like a great day for some Pho.  : )

I had a ticket for buy one get one free through PTA.  Well at $81 it better be .  Oh and don't forget parking at $12

I can't imagine anyone giving 5 stars but this is just my opinion.  Honestly I probably could have spent my day at random parks around San Diego and had as much fun.

One amusing part to me is the map makes the rides look so big.  For example, the log ride shows this huge log making a splash that  goes over part of the map.  Ummm, can I say some pools are bigger.  Oh and the dip. 8 ft max with incline compared to mid mark of my futon bed.

Maybe a person has to really love Legos for this to receive more stars.  I mean don't get me wrong I loved Lego's but there is still a disconnect to me.  Not to mention anyone who buys Lego's here must have money to burn.  Yikes!

As far as rides, you aren't going to get much excitement.  The big one for the day is probably the one that holds 4 people and looks like a little cart.  It has a real dip de doo at one point that my stomach actually had some G's.  Guess it was so anticlimactic that I can't even remember its name.

The highlight which was pretty cool was miniature LEGOLAND of the USA.  It was amazing to see Vegas, S. California, Washington and all the states come alive made out of Le gos .  Hats off to the people who built that.  They must have some degree in Legology is all I have to say.

Would I go back?  Probably not.  Did my daughter like it. She said it was fun spending time with Mom.   That sums it up.

**Note** I struggled between  2 - 3 stars just because of the Legology masterpiece

For me Party City is one of those places I hate to love!

I love Halloween and Party City is easy & convenient.  They have everything!  

When it comes to receiving a costume, I sort of feel like I'm in an audience waiting for the employee to yell "NEXT" as everyone is waving their arms in the air.  I usually find what I want, however I know when I show up there is a high possibility that someone else will have the same costume.

It's a great place to find decorations.  I usually find bulk candy to be least expensive and if you are looking for theme parties they have lots of merchandise to choose from.

If they have only 1 or 2 employees working during a holiday, checking out can be a bit of a pain.  Other than that, everyone has been pretty friendly.

***Side Note***  If you still need to get a costume I would say go now!  You don't want to be left at the last minute choosing between the Plus size Cave Man  or the Blue Oompah Loompah!
