Dr. Sherry is my neurologist.  I have narcolepsy, and I've found her to be not only extraordinarily knowledgeable on sleep disorders and treatment options, but communicative and a good judge of character.  She has been willing to suggest and prescribe maintenance medications without the extremely irritating skepticism that some doctors project when I've needed control drugs (sometimes abused by the general population).  It can be hard to find specialists that you feel take the time to understand how your condition affects your life, and Dr. Sherry has made my too-small list of genuinely good doctors.

I recently joined Planet Fitness after several years at Bally's because it was a quarter of the price and just as convenient.  I think this is a lot of bang for your buck, truly.  You won't get some of the posh bonuses you get at more expensive gyms, but it is a clean, environmentally friendly gym where all of the equipment is consistently in working order.  I love the "Planet Fitness Theater" bit - all of the cardio machines have individual TV's  so I can watch CSI while I do my little waddle-jog instead of having to endure some stupid sports event on a common tele.  The design of the space maximizes the amount of equipment they have without being too crowded, and I've never had to wait for a machine no matter what time I hit the gym.  At six and a half feet tall, my boyfriend did not join because he found that none of the elliptical machines were sized for larger statures, which is unfortunate but doesn't affect me personally.  There isn't a towel service, which is a bummer, but for the price I truly can't complain.  I've also found the staff to be consistently friendly and helpful.  This facility has tanning booths as well, if that's your thing.

I got the worst grilled cheese sandwich of my life here yesterday when trying to pick up a quick bite.  It was as if someone had toasted it, then dipped the entire thing in liquid butter for five minutes and slapped it on the grill.  It had so much butter on it that when I held the to-go container sideways, the mushy, sodden bread accordioned into a puddle.  It was grotesquely inedible and my standards for a quick grilled cheese are not high.

I used these folks to move my archaic corporate voicemail system from Cambridge to Boston and provide continued customer support.  Of all of the companies I've worked with for various telecommunications needs, Shared Technologies is the only one who have been consistently available and knowledgeable about their services and products.  They show up on time and their representatives are empowered to either fix  your problem or locate someone who can in a timely fashion.  Surprisingly positive experience from an industry that is so consistently poor that one just expects to get jerked around.

The cats at Riverside get mad props for not lol'ing at me for outfitting my Vespa with ridonkulous Harley-sized saddlebags.  Also they were super friendly and efficient when I got my inspection done there.  I will definitely be a return customer.

Not only has Zing revolutionized my expectations of a divine pizza intervention in my daily life, they have raised the bar for culinary creativity and foodie satiation tenfold.  They make a pizza with shredded beets, goat cheese, spinach, and pine nuts that is nothing short of an ultimate foodgasm.  A+ for consistently friendly hipster staff and delivery drivers as well.

I have been using Fleming for my business off-set printing needs for some time now and they are consistently wonderful.  The staff are friendly and helpful, and the product is always a cut above any other company I have used.  After several disappointing experiences with local reproduction places I stepped it up; you do pay more for high quality printing and attention to detail than you would for sub-par digital reproduction and the like, but the end result is a very professional finished product.  I would highly recommend Fleming Printing for your printing needs, a comprehensive list of their services is on their website.

I called Mr. Locksmith to change our company locks one afternoon on short notice and he showed up 30 minutes later.  The locksmith was friendly and professional and worked very quickly.  I was incredibly pleased and will always use this company when the need arises in the future.

Unfortunately I am staying here because my apartment's water heater went asplodey, so I'm trying to make the most of it.  It's a very quaint historic hotel with kitschy firehouse decor reminiscent of the building's long ago use.   It's reasonably priced for a Boston hotel (under $200 a night via http://hotels.com) and clean and fairly cozy, no frills really but located very conveniently by the Kendall Square T, with free wi-fi and minimal cable TV.  The inexpensive rooms are small with not much natural light, but all in all it's a tidy and well run hotel that I would shelf relatives at and whatnot if the need arose.

The food here was divine, and on food alone I'd rate Haveli five stars.  There was a lot of confusion with the flustered wait staff though, not to mention the bartender taking twenty minutes to make a cosmopolitan as he meticulously picked up each liquor bottle and read it, comparing it to the recipe on the paper in his hand.  I maintain that it was some of the best Indian in greater Cambridge/Somerville, but they suffer from organizational chaos and some communication difficulties.
