Best "job" I've ever had! If you come in to do genealogy at the Family History center, be sure to stop by the cafeteria and get the Clam Chowder.  You can thank me later.

Wow - amazing Sushi!  It's right next to the Ala Moana, in an area you would never expect a good restaurant like this to be.  The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it's in a relatively bad area with about 3 or four gentleman's clubs near by.

I had the Rainbow Roll and it was delicious!  No fishy taste, and very fresh.

Best Thai food I've had in Honolulu.  If you're looking for authentic, this is the place to go.  It's on the second floor and looks very homely from the exterior.  IMO, this is the way you know it's good.  The food is made by real Thais, and they make the food like real Thais.  Don't expect the Americanized Thai food here.

If you're looking for something really good, just for Hawaii, get the Papaya Salad, and then for desert, get the Mangos and Sticky rice.  With the fresh fruit from Hawaii those 2 dishes are to die for!  Would recommend to anyone staying in the Waikiki area.  Just a couple blocks from Outrigger Reef/Hilton hotels.  Highly recommended!

One of the worst restaurants I've eaten at in a long time!  First of all, it's not Thai!  Walking in there's a sign that says "Wait to be seated" in 3 languages - not a single one of them is Thai (I speak Thai).

I was served Masuman Curry without rice - it was served in a soup bowl as though it was soup, and with Beef, not chicken as it is usually served in Thailand.  Not only that but it didn't really even taste like Curry!

The waiter was slow, and forgot to serve my drink.  Being in Hawaii, I thought it would be easy to find the infamous Mangos and Sticky rice most Thai restaurants have this time of year, and the waiter didn't even know what it was.  When he went to ask the Chef, there were no ripe mangos - I should have offered to go down the street and get them some.

The menu has been so Americanized and tarnished that I think it's a ripoff to call it a Thai restaurant.  $40 later and not even a very good meal, I was left wanting.  Go down the street to Siam Square - the food is much better, much more authentic, and you'll save yourself a ton of money!

Would never recommend this place.

Good environment. I like Thai Delight's food better though.  I ordered Phad Graphaw (Thai Basil), a dish known for being one of the most spicy Thai dishes and there wasn't a lick of pepper in it.  In fact, I didn't even taste any garlic, something also normally a major part of the dish.  Excellent service, great environment (they all greet you as you come in, and the manager stops by every table to ask how the food was), but I'd go to Thai Delight down the road where the food's better.

My absolute favorite Thai place in Utah. Having been an LDS missionary in Thailand, I crave authentic Thai food, and this place has the most authentic I've had in Utah. Owned by Laos (well, Isaan - Northwestern Thailand), you'll get very good Neaua Nam Tok (beef waterfall), Laab, or Som Tam (papaya salad) here.  I also really like the Coconut Chicken soup (Tom Kha Gai).

Keep in mind it's kind of a small, diner-style restaurant, but the food is well worth it.  The owners make most of the meals.

If you want an even more authentic experience, check out the Asian market a few doors down - in the back they'll make you food, Thai style. The owners of the market are Thai as well - overall, Thai Delight's a great experience if you haven't been there before.

In and out - hardly any wait.  Dr. Johnson was friendly and very knowledgeable.  I came in with Strep Throat, it took them 5 minutes to wait in the lobby, 5 minutes to run the strep test, and 5 more minutes for Dr. Johnson to come in and diagnose me. It was probably the fastest, yet most productive Dr.'s visit I had.

He was willing to work with our limited insurance, and there's an attached Pharmacy that has very good prices. 30 Amoxicillin pills (generic) were just over $10 without any prescription insurance.  Dr. Johnson also strives to prescribe the cheapest medicine rather than taking advantage of the insurance companies, something I really like.

The only complaint I would have, making it 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the walls are razor thin.  You can hear the conversations in the room next door - just be aware of that, but it wasn't much of a problem for me.  I highly recommend Dr. Johnson for your next visit!
