Greekfest Restaurant

Christmas party at Greekfest. I had the steak and my wife had the salmon. I suppose it is possible that they were having a bad night but everything seemed nearly flavorless.

None of it was good.

The desert was about the only thing worth having.

The atmosphere was great and the staff was helpful but they need to rework the kitchen if they want to stay in business.

Results Only

If your looking for a private gym with an exclusive and personalized approach, then Results Only might be the right place for you.

It's not your normal gym or personal training environment. The gym is run by Bobby Kelly, former trainer to the President, and he offers something I have never seen before...

.. A REAL personalized training program for people that need MORE than a monthly fee and an useless ocean of fitness equipment. (It useless because I don't even use most of it)

I must warn you, Results Only is not the cheapest place in town and that might explain the exclusive group of attendees.

I hear that there is a waiting list now.

All "name dropping" aside, Results Only is a unique and focused training environment for people serious about losing weight, getting in shape and keeping fit. This is my best alternative to an unused gym membership.

It might be yours too. If you can get in there..

Sunbelt Vacations

After touring many of the luxurious homes (on the website) and speaking with the staff, making a decision to choose Sunbelt Vacations was easy. Our family enjoyed how close it was to all the Scottsdale amenities and the pools. Sunbelt seems to cater to anyone traveling from out of town in a larger group. And my wife's family enjoyed the extra room .

Compared to a Hotel, vacation rentals are actual houses with kitchens and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ( I didn't know that before). This makes staying at a vacation rental a preferred option , for larger groups, over a cramped hotel.

The houses are really nice . I recommend it to anyway headed to phoenix. My wife's mother and her family really enjoyed their stay in Phoenix.

The Mission

The Mission has great breakfast foods and a variety of coffee. I enjoyed the prompt and courteous wait staff as well as the terrific food.

I had pancakes (banana , strawberry, granola) which were the best pancakes I have had, ever. You can get the eggs and bacon with the pancakes, which I did, but that was too much really. For the additional $2 it isn't worth it.

My wife had the egg sandwich croissant which I managed to sneak a bite of. I think I like the pancakes better but she seemed to enjoy the egg, red peppers, tomatoes and cream cheese scramble that filled the buttery, flaky croissant.

I highly recommend The Mission and the super-duper Pancakes!

Super spectacular view with casual atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Wife and I went for dinner and split the brie appetizer, mahi fish tacos and the mud pie ($45 without tip).

We really, really enjoyed the view. It was a little cold and breezy but the overhead heaters really balanced out the experience. The mud pie was massive, don't attempt to eat this desert alone. The Mahi-Mahi Fish Tacos were light, tropical and spicy.

Eating here is an absolute must. Bring your wife or girlfriend and score major points. My wife loved it.

My wife and I came to San Diego, stayed at the Westin on Broadway, for our 10th wedding anniversary. A really wonderful place with the famous "heavenly bed" and consistent Westin experience.

As soon as the staff discovered it was our 10th anniversary , they arranged free champagne and strawberries to be delivered to our room (beyond our expectations). We also ordered in-room dessert which was awesome!

Warning on the parking though. Its $29 per night, so be prepared if you drive here like we did.

As a pub this might be a great place to hang out. My wife and I loved the atmosphere but the food was not great. I wouldn't recommendt it as a place to find a great meal with a few drinks.

Perhaps best left for those seeking drinks and conversation but as a place to eat.

Excellent food but so-so service (too long between table visits. The service could have been better for sure. It wasn't terrible and the food was GREAT!

I had the New York Strip and my wife had the wedge salad. We also split the Ahi tuna appetizer which was really terrific but a bit spicy. We were surprised to find a brewery with good food.

The Cottage is a small place with a house-like or "cottage" appearance. If you are visiting San Diego it isn't super easy to find unless you put google maps to use. Service at The Cottage was excellent, the food was terrific and unique.

I had the meatloaf hash which was great comfort food with diced meatloaf, home fries and eggs over easy. I highly recommend it. MY wife had a omelet special which was very unique. It contained spinach, smoked salmon (lox), cream cheese, asparagus and dill hollandaise sauce.

Good Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza (7 out of 10) but don't try to get too fancy anything beyond basic hasn't been very good. Service is hit and miss, our family has been to eat at this location at least 6 times and it has declined in the last 6 months.
