Seems to be a relatively new place in the town square. They serve a basic Italian style lunch really cheaply. I wish them well. Without a lot of choice in town (think McDonalds) , they should survive even if the food and service are rather low-key.
We've stayed here for the second time, and have really enjoyed our stay each time. The Silks are friendly and efficient owners who keep their place spotless.
Home is full of antique and wonderful furnishings.
Breakfast is always great, varying each day with a new and delicious treat.
The Inn has 3 guest suites, and is situated in the woods, directly across from Beavers Bend State Park.
Great for a quiet getaway as a couple.

I had high hopes when I read the reviews. I'd give somebody's right arm for a good New York Deli in Dallas.
Unfortunately, this ain't it.
The staff are friendly and helpful, although inexperienced and seemingly unfamiliar with the food.
I've always thought the mark of a good deli is their pastrami, and I was anxious to try Zinsky's. The meat was way too dry and very thickly cut. Pastrami has to be kept moist and sliced just before its served! Just a very small step up from Jason's.
Tried the bagel and nova. Bagel was way too hard, and had none of the chewiness that marks a good fresh bagel. The nova was poorly sliced and had a thread of gristle running through it. The cream cheese was damn near frozen and seemed to be in prepackaged slices.
I'd give this place only 2 stars, but where else can I go when I need that memory of the Stage Deli refreshed?

Damn good Mexican food at very reasonable prices!
Very friendly service and pleasant surroundings.
They have a $6 lunch special which includes beans and rice and tea!
Great enchiladas and asada.
They specialize in seafood for dinner, and serve a great cerviche.
Give 'em a try.

I wish I could give this place more stars, because I really like the atmosphere of the place. Smart looking restaurant in a high dollar part of town.
The food, however, I find to be just OK. This is a pricey spot, and the meal just doesn't live up to cost.
We shared Soup Dumplings (good, not great), Tempura Fish (fresh, but nothing special, Chef's Special Meat Balls (we couldn't figure out what was the attraction), Spicy Boiled Fish (very spicy, which I like, but no real flavors other than hot), Shrimp w/spicy Pork and Soy Beans (the best dish we tried) and Crispy Duck ( a little overdone, with no accompanying sauce to sweeten or otherwise spice up the dish).
Dinner for 4 was $180 with tax and tip (no booze). I'd suggest you go to Chinatown on Greenville and save $100.

A handy spot if you're stranded in Las Colinas. Busy at lunchtime, but there's not a lot of choice in the area.
I've only tried the pizza, so that's all I can comment on. My opinion, if you like Domino's pizza, you'll like it here too.

An obviously popular spot, with a wide range of clientele. Dropped in on a Tuesday night for a quick bite, and the line to the counter was always full. Service was quick and friendly, however, so no complaints there.
Wooden tables with paper towels and saltines crackers. Seat yourself and scarf down whatever it is you get.
Seafood gumbo was rich, and very good. Big bowl for less than six bucks. Catfish baskets looked really good. Not that over fried stuff you get at similar places around town.
Great place for a quick and good meal.

Sausalito ain't a cheap place to eat. We were just doing our tourist bit, and wanted to sit by the water and watch the world go by.
This is basically a to-go place with a few tables. Fish and chips were pretty good, and reasonably priced. Service was quick and sullen. What the hell, this ain't gourmet.
Grab a bite and sit in the park across the way. Don't worry, be happy.

Quite an unexpected find in an outlet mall. On the road from Tahoe to San Francisco and looking for something to eat besides McD and pizza.
Restaurant was bright and clean. Service was friendly and quick. Food was a lot better than it had to be. I'm not sure what else is in and around Vacaville, but you won't go wrong stopping here.

Three star food with a five star view....so....four stars. We dropped in for a late lunch on the deck. Terrific spot on the lake when weather is cooperative.
Burgers, salads and fish tacos were all pretty good, although you certainly pay the markup for the view. Service was a bit haphazard, but friendly enough when they showed up.
If you got an hour to kill for lunch and/or a couple of drinks, this is a comfortable stop on your drive around the lake.
