If I'm in NYC, 9 times out of 10, this is where you will find me. I find it so hard to visit NYC without visiting The Candle Cafe. They have so many delicious looking options to choose from, but I usually end up ordering the same thing every time. The Tuscan Seitan Parmesan Sandwich with a Limonade. I'm so tempted to try something else, but that sandwich is just too good. The service is excellent. Friendly, fast, failrly priced and 100% delicious.
Veggie Heaven is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants. They have so many options and each one of them is just as delicious as the next. Even my non-vegetarian husband loves their food. Some of my favorites include: Crispy Chicken Cutlet Supreme, Chicken w/ Broccoli, Cold Noodle w/ Sesame Sauce, Scallion Pancakes and the beloved Spring Rolls. Please don't forget the Spring Rolls. They're that good!
If you're lucky and live close enough they even deliver. I have taken advantage of that many times.

Sweet Avenue Bake Shop is easily my favorite place in Jersey. The cupcakes are super cute and so good that you end up going home with way more than you planned on. The owners are so friendly and all kinds of awesome. If you have a Twitter account you should add them. They're really good at keeping you updated on what they have available, store hours, etc. Still need a reason to visit? One word: doughnuts!
