I went zipping here & had a blast! Our guides were Benji & Mike and they definitely made the day more fun. There is a total of 5 zips & one bridge throughout the course.
I've been zipping one time before but I have to say I enjoyed Gatorland more. Maybe it was because we were zipping over alligators and crocs or maybe they just do it better. Regardless, we had a great time today & I would definitely recommend to try it out!!

I've been to Stardust a few times - there are always lots of events going on here. Every Monday night is the Audubon Farmers Market - fresh produce, sweets, eats, live music, clothes, accessories, etc...
Stardust is a great work place, or to just catch up with some friends. I had the American Psycho sandwich tonight - SO good. Fresh bread, hummus, veggies & a salad on the side. Seems so simple but I promise it's a good bet.
Definitely check out Stardust sometime & some of the local events happening there!

A few of my friends have been to Miss Heidi's for ear piercings & I wanted to go somewhere that had good reviews! I went here last weekend to get the rook pierced on my ear. Madame Karen helped me & she was awesome. Informative & quick.
I would definitely recommend Miss Heidi's if you're looking to get some piercings done. I haven't been here for a tattoo but there are some great reviews for that part of the business too. :)

I wish I lived near this place. Good gravy, it is one of the best pizza places I have been to. Ever. First of all, get the Sachel Salad. Cucumbers, apples, red onion, cheese, tomatoes, almonds, sunflower seeds, walnuts...need I continue? (It's delicious.) And of course, get the pizza. You can't go wrong with any of them. Just be sure to ask for light crust if you like it that way, otherwise it'll be cooked dark.
The environment is fun to say the least. There is an old VW Wagon out in the front that you can eat in, if you so wish - the staff will serve you out there. Local art on the walls, including pictures but also tons of hand crafts. Very friendly staff, they all work together to make sure the tables are taken care of. Also, there is a store towards the back that has some fun stuff to buy and also you can buy their salad dressing by the bottle! Only $5.
Just a note for you: This place is cash only. Don't let that steer you away though. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Gainesville.

I've been on a mission to find the best cupcakes in the Orlando area & B Cupcakes is definitely in the top 5. I went rather close to closing time so ones I wanted the most were out. So, I went with red velvet.
The cake part was very flavorful & moist & the icing was great! They even put a couple pecans in the frosting which was a pleasant surprise to me.
The y have an adorable shop, seating area, & a friendly staff. Will definitely be going to B Cupcakes again. Hopefully sooner than later. :)

I really love sandwiches & I have to say Jimmy John's is becoming my favorite. First of all, their bread is amazing. It's cooked to perfection every time. Second of all, they are fast. Like ninja fast. I don't even know how they do it. I always go for the Turkey Tom - sliced turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mayo...you can't go wrong, my friend.
Great. Now I'm hungry. Let's go get a Turkey Tom.

Urban ReThink is awesome! Seriously can't believe it look me so long to go. Wonderful space to get some work done, have a meeting, or just hang out with friends. They have TONS of local events always happening, from parties, to movies, to puppets, to music...you seriously can't go wrong.
There are some rental options if you're looking for a work space but the events are open to the public. Parking is not always easy, but I think that goes to say for ANY business in the Thorton Park area - you can park in the garage for free for the first 1/2 hour then just a couple bucks after if you're having a hard time finding a place.

I can't believe I worked less than 2 miles away from this place for a year and only went recently. I hit up RanGetsu twice for lunch with some co-workers and I absolutely loved it. We sat out on the patio with nice (gorgeous) red couches, umbrellas, & big trees. It was so sexy & relaxing!

This is my new favorite place. For serious. They have a huge variety of fruits and veggies plus meats and pastas and even a whole room full of wine! All of the food I have gotten here has been so fresh and really delicious and best of all, they are so cheap! I can't imagine I will be shopping anywhere else but here for my fruits and veggies.
Their staff is so genuine. Always very friendly and available to help if need be. I'm looking forward to tasting their subs soon too. Yep, they have a deli!

The staff is very friendly & I love how they have a wall up with all the local shows happening in Orlando & where. Definitely going to be visiting Park Ave more frequently!
