I cannot say enough good things about this place. I honestly do not know where to start in giving you a list of all the things I love about this particular Whole Foods.
They have a great salad bar accompanied by hot/cold entrees, sides, veggies, etc. You get the feeling of a true market as they have a gelato station, coffee and chocolate shop, express asian restaurant, soup stands (several throughout), sushi bar, antipasti bar, shrimp bar, bbq to go stand, etc. I could go on and on.
That doesn't even begin to mention the amazing products they have. Their giant wall of cut fruit is always a favorite of mine. Great combinations, very fresh. My friend is a huge fan of their many samples. Running around the store eating those is a tasty meal itself!
There is a large section for seating if you want to enjoy your salad bar lunch onsite. It also appears they have cooking classes, wine tasting and countless other gems that make them stand out from any other grocery store I have seen.
I'm a big fan... can you tell?
Tip: There are several areas with soup. Veggie soups are near the salad bar. Meat soups are near the, well, meat. And seafood soups are on the shrimp bar.

Second visit was an A+
Third visit was disappointing.
The steak was really chewy -- to the point of unappetizing. A total let down. In fact, I didn't finish even half my meal because of it.
Now, it must be said that they offered 50% off to all of our employees (and perhaps another local business or two) to introduce themselves to the area. They were PACKED! Seating was full but we found that the table's speed of turnover helped. It seemed like someone was always finishing up as another group of diners were ready to sit down. I was impressed how well staffed they appeared to be. They were certainly ready for large crowds today. Despite what was technically a full line, it moved VERY quickly.

This is the first new restaurant in ages to make me smile. I had the roti steak on flatbread. Similar to the Chpotle assembly line, you walk through your order selecting all the fresh ingredients. There selection is pretty decent and they don't just wait for you to blurt out your order. Instead, they walk you through item by item so that you are fully aware of all the selections. Not only do you have a variety, but the amount they put on your creation is generous. By the time you get your finished product, it is exploding with food! Yum!
I have to say, I was very pleased with my creation. The steak was delicious and all the ingredients brought fantastic flavors to the dish. It came with a side of cous-cous which I found decent but nothing amazing. The baba ghannoush side we ordered was good but they definitely gave on oversize portion. I felt it really went to waste.
The restaurant itself is very clean and slick. It looks very much like a chain but they insist that it is not a franchise. Who can complain? All the cleanliness of a franchise but still having the locally created benefits? Sounds good to me!
This place has won itself a place on the lunch cycle.

Apparently, there are two entries for this. See my other one for more details.

* Their catering menu and quality is awesome. I've now ordered for 3-4 different luncheons and will certainly have them in mind for many more.
* They have a trail mix bar. And it is full of yummy goodness.
* They have some great pre-made meals next to the salad bar area. It has all sorts of sammiches but also some ethnic flair like the amazing steamed buns filled with bbq pork I picked up last week. Yum!
