Well, this is the first negative review I will have ever written.  I wasn't going to write, but I was so irritated  a week later, I decided to.

I have been to Cafe Ella 3 times.  Two of those 3 times I have had bad experiences.  Let's just say that I love good coffee.  Occasionally I like to enjoy a sweeter espresso drink.  Cafe Ella uses powder white mocha mix which I am a fan of.

Anyhow, I ordered a White Mocha with Whip cream.  The gal at the counter repeated my order back to me, rung me up and went to go make it.  I could hear her frothing foam.  White mochas do not have foam.  She put the lid on it and handed it to me.  I asked her, "did you put whip cream on it?".  She said "oh, no, sorry we are out".  OK...so why did you repeat the order to me and not say so in the first place and are you trying to pass off foam for whip cream????

Annoying.... left.  Came to work.  Same day a girl in our office got to-go and her Pannini wasnt even toasted.  That's another story.

Anyhow, I decided to give Ella another try.  Everyone has bad days, or two right?  

Well, I went in and it was the same Gal at the counter.  I ordered two drinks, a White Mocha and a Carmel Latte, BOTH with "Whip Cream.".  Again she repeated my order, took my $ and went to go make them.  I sat down and waited.  Sure enough I saw her putting the lid on.  No whip cream.  I asked her, " Did you put whip cream on these?".  Again she said "No, we are out."  OK, so WHY DO YOU not tell me when I am placing the order???  I am all for being out of things, I am just not for trying to have people pass things off like that.
That morning there were 3 people working!  Not a single one could make whip cream, in a Cafe???  Wow.  

Sadly, I think Ella is too busy getting Hollister up and running and neglecting managing Watsonville.  

Needless to say, I won't be back.

I am a new Bagel Cafe Lover.  I moved from Santa Cruz to Watsonville and am also an ex cafe owner, so I am picky or a "snob" as some might say.  

I have struggled to find a good cup of coffee (I am NOT a Starblah drinker) in Watsonville.  They brew Santa Cruz Roasting company beans, and their espresso's are quite good.  They use powdered white chocolate for their white mocha's instead of that syrup crap and it makes a world of difference.  

OK...the bagels.  So good!  They are fresh and soft and there are many choices to choose from.  The cinnamon sugar bagels are pure evil good.  I am also a huge fan of the turkey sandwich on a toasted sourdough bagel with thick slices of turkey and cranberry sauce.  I have also had one of their salads with Spinach, dried cranberries, thick slices of hard boiled egg and chopped bacon.  Great grab and go lunch.

I think the service is great.  Sure it get's super busy but that's a good thing.  Means it's good!  I think it is worth the wait.  Erika and Julio are very friendly and provide great service.

I was raised in this area and have been to a handful of dentists.  I was experiencing serious tooth pain, the worst pain I have ever had and I have children.  I used Google Maps to find the closest dentist I possibly could and came across SVDC.  Luan answered the phone and was more than helpful squeezing me in and making sure my insurance would cover my visit.  Dr Tsai was amazing.  Previously I would get very nervous prior to dental exams but she made me feel very comfortable and was very honest and informative with her exam.  Long story short, she fixed the painful tooth and I will forever be grateful and will continue to refer her as well as call her "my Dentist" .

Hubby just took kids and I here for our anniversary.  He had arranged a special night ahead of time and the servers were great.
The calamari was awesome, very light and the sauce was quite yummy.  The server was awesome and brought out our 5 year olds food first thing which made our stay much more easier and enjoyable.  Hubby had a scalop special that was amazing and I enjoyed the coconut shrimp.  A MUST have is the Coconut Creme Brulee type tart to finish with.  It was seriously to die for.

J9 aka Jennine is the best.  I had a nightmare of a color correction needed and she did her magic to fix it.  

Great Salon, clean, classy, and everyone is very friendly.  Totally top notch service from the moment you walk into the door.

I would HIGHLY recommend her and her kick ass salon.
