extremely disappointing coffee.
horrible service (rude, every time i order something to stay i have to ASK for a plate... they just give me a napkin every time!!! what is that!)
most baked items are pretty dry.
atmosphere in a nutshell: unsanitary.
over rated cup cakes. (wayyyy too much sugar in the icing. the chocolate cake is a JOKE, all cake is usually dry)
the ONLY thing worth going here for is the Banana Pudding. seriously; i despise pudding. i think it is weird and gross. but this pudding; oh my goodness! it is actually a vanilla pudding mixed with chunks of fresh banana and nilla wafers (which get soft and cake like in the mixture). mmmmm.....

Artichoke Basille's Pizza & Brewery
Category: Pizza
Neighborhood: East Village
also; the line isn't that long if you go at a reasonable hour, it just looks long because only like 3 people can stand inside (it has never taken more than 15 minutes for me to get a slice in my hands) And i gotta say its a good marketing technique (you walk by and see a line of course you are curious!)
yes the artichoke slice is greasy, but its mostly because they are so generous with the flavorful cheese! i will admit there isn't ALOT of artichoke on it (a few slivers here and there) but todays going rate for canned tomato sauce and bagged shredded cheese on bread is $2.50 so its a steal at $4... also just one slice will fill you right up!
I tried the crab and had mixed feelings about it... i think i agree with what i have heard before; it tastes a bit too much like Old Bay Seasoning.
i have yet to try the sicilian ("grandma") and margarita but i have ONLY heard good things...
it has always been the same friendly girl who takes my order... so i say the service is great.

DO NOT GO HERE.
All of the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE (the nicest people there are the bouncers believe it or not) i actually dont understand how anyone is this rude and just plain mean (in life in general! where does one see the point in putting so much energy into being such an ass-hole?!)
Drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced and just bad.
what you will see: it might be empty, because most people have realized by now that this place sucks. if not; the one half the room will be the line for the ONE bathroom (with a broken lock). the people; guidos and their female counterparts in the most hideous attire, anyone from NJ with a fake tan, 40 year old men on the prowl (ew.), and a cute girl or two glued to their blackberry's trying to get the HELL OUT OF THERE.
believe me; ive given them more than one chance... NEVER AGAIN.
