Other than a ridiculously bubbly server with the nickname "Bubbles" (who actually scared the living hell out of me), our dinner was fine. Three dishes were ordered: Seafood Portofino, and two "Never Ending Pasta Bowls".
During our NEPB tour, we sampled the Creamy Parmesan Portobello, Five Cheese Marinara, and Chianti three Meat sauces. The stand out was the Chianti Three Meat -- the other two were forgettable. My wife, who wouldn't bother with the NEPB, went with her tried and true favorite: Seafood Portofino. This is probably the best thing that Olive Garden makes. It's just really, really good.
I remember one of my first times ever coming to this location, a close friend of mine talked me into one of the most painful culinary experiences I've ever had. I don't know if it's still on the menu, but those with a hearty appetite may want to take the "Tour of Italy". From what I faintly remember, it was a hearty helping of meat lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and fettuccine Alfredo. All on one plate. Plus salad and bread sticks. It's just ridiculous.
Anyway, cloudy memory aside, this dinner was a-okay. We had a few glasses of White Zinfandel and tasted a few preferred wine pairings (for free). In comparison, I think Olive Garden gets away with charging what they do by having an extensive menu and giving you cloth napkins to wipe the White Wine sauce from your chin, not for the actual quality of the dish. Does that make sense? I hope so. Three stars for average food at a slightly-above-moder ate price tag.

Pumpkin Curry. Squid Pad Thai. Garlic Seafood Dinner. All of these have one ingredient in common: win.
I've eaten here four times, three of which were coworkers going and picking up food, but today was the first time that I'd actually stepped foot in the restaurant.
I'll start by echoing other reviewers... the interior is very nice. Something like a sushi bar is the first thing you see when you walk in, but immediately you'll notice the lovely sculptures, dark wood tables & chairs, and some very nice plants & flowers.
I was helped by a polite young woman who spoke perfect English (in case that matters to you). I had been craving some Yellow Curry for the last two weeks, so instead of ordering the Drunken Noodles (which I had told myself I was going to order) I went with the chicken curry & a Thai Tea.
The Tea came first of course, and while I've had this from other places in the past, this one was a little sweeter than I'd have liked it to be. No matter, it was still delicious. Within 5 minutes, my to-go bag was out and I was on my way.
A couple of notes: 1) I wasn't asked how spicy I'd like it. When I had ordered through a coworker in the past, they asked me, 'How hot do you want it?' I went with 'medium heat' and it was just the right balance of sweet and heat. I wasn't asked by the woman who took my order this time, and my curry was almost a too sweet. Granted, I usually end up paying for my choice to go hotter, so maybe this was a blessing in disguise... but nonetheless I wasn't asked. 2) Speaking of blessings, I nearly made a mistake at the restaurant, and I'm telling you this so you don't. There's some type of Buddhist prayer ritual associated with leaving full glass of water on a shrine (Jatukam I believe). I nearly grabbed it and gave it back to them, but before I reached out to it, I looked over and saw a similar shrine about eight feet up behind the counter which also had a glass of water. I thought to myself, 'None of those ladies are tall enough to set a glass of water down on that. Unless there's some tall fella in the back...' Of course I asked my server what it meant and she gave me some information, saying, 'Yes, we've had customers hand it to us.'
'Really? What kind of idiot would do that?'
Heh. Anyway, my potential embarrassment and blasphemy aside, the service was good (though I wasn't asked about the heat of my dish), the food was good (though not spicy enough), and it's decently priced and portioned. Anyone who fancies Thai food or curry and lives or works in the Zinfandel area should check this place out for sure.

We enjoyed the one-cup coffee maker, safe, LG HDTV (though the lack of an HD signal was sorta whack), and the quirky feel of the place.
Around one-hundred fifty bucks gets you a really nice room with a really nice story to tell. We'll definitely consider this for our next SF trip.
