I stayed here in August, 2009. This is definitely not your Napa Valley boutique hotel. First of all, is not in Napa, and second it pretty much is a big chain hotel. It looks kind of weird sitting there on the highway, and is located next to a really sketchy casino.
But, the rooms are clean and relatively conveniently located to the wineries in the area. Sure, everything is a drive away. But pretty much everything will be anyway. The hotel staff is not particularly helpful, and the wifi sucks. Ask for a cable.

I still love the food here - I just wanted to update it that the balcony area is not as big as it used to. They have closed it for the colder weather.

I love this place. It is located couple of blocks from my place and they have the best jerk chicken and ox tail ever!
Their balcony seating is good and always fun. You owe yourself to come here!
Came to this bar for Halloween night. What a treat! As a tourist it was fantastic to party with the locals! After 3 days in the French Quarter - I had started to think that nobody lived in NOLA. Was I wrong! The music was great! All in all - an awesome night.

I did not experience the horror stories others have mentioned about this hotel. Yes - this wasnt the prettiest hotel ever, but it is a Holiday Inn after all.
The location is great, right in Canal street and just blocks away from Bourbon. Royal street itself is actually quite nice as you continue walking into it. The rooms were actually very roomy - the bathroom was ok. Everything seemed clean - and the service was a bit intrusive in the morning, so I recommend you hang the dont disturbe sign!

The location of the hotel was good - but I wouldnt say it was walking distance like other people here have mentioned.

This is a really cute Argentinean restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. The guy in the register was very helpful (and VERY cute). I ordered an empanada that wasnt ALL that, but the sauce with it definitely improved it. I then ordered the beef al burro (with egg) and he was nice enough to replace the french friend for the mashed potatoes. The meat was really good, though the mashed could have been better.

I loved this place - I went to Boston for college and I go back once in awhile to visit friends in the last +10 years after graduation. My usual complain about Boston is that the places are full of kids - I dont quite enjoy hanging out with the college crowd.
Well - the Beehive was a place that DID not have that ambiance at all!. Great live music, nice crowd, friendly service and delicious food!

This place is mostly pick up - the sitting inside is small. The pasta is pretty good - though I wouldnt say is the best pasta I have ever had. The garlic bread wasnt all that great either.
Overall, a good place to get some pasta on a lazy move night.

A friend who lives in the area brought me here.. and I will thank her forever for the experience. The food was delicious!
I could not decide between the garlic chicken and the pork. I mentioned this to the waiter.. and he just told me.. well, I can give you half/half. I loved the fact that he so eagerly chosed to accommodate me!

You can get a gyro for $5, or Gyro over rice for $6. The basmati rice is heaven, and I really like the tzatziki with the spicy sauce. I usually eat the beef and lamb combination and is really good.
