Service was incredibly slow even thought we arrived early (6pm). They forgot to put in our risotto orders so they took over an hour to receive. The food itself was very mediocre for the cost ($13 burger that really needed salt to make it edible). The disturbing part is the burger is the signature dish.
To survive on SF this place has a long way to go.
Carden is just the right mix of academics and culture. A very diverse student body and an educational approach that really emphasizes what the children need and at the pace that the children can handle - if they can handle more they get more. We have 2 children enrolled and have referred multiple other people.
The students are far ahead of the public school curriculum but they don't exhibit signs of stress or pressure. My wife and I are both MIT alumni and our children are very motivated to work. Our favorite part of Carden actually their responsiveness not only to the kids needs but to ours - each and every incident that occurs at the school is addressed immediately, all teachers must respond to emails within 24 hours if a parent asks a question, and helping your fellow students is highly encouraged - even having older kids "mentor" the younger grades. I challenge anyone to find the level of 1-1 relationship that Carden gives our children.
Horrible! Locked the key inside the car then damaged the window to get them out. We had a spare with us!!!
Avoid at all costs!!!!
I am a victim of the NIGHTMARE contractor stories you hear about. Lawsuits, CA State Lic Board, abandonment, you name it and I've been there with contractors. For that reason, I will NEVER recommend a contractor unless he's good. And given I know BAD, I can tell you I know good and Louis and his team are good.
They helped me out of a pinch when my furnace, which was installed incorrectly by the original contractor, gave out during a real cold snap. Louis helped me out and even offered to walk me through some troubleshooting on the phone if he couldn't make it back (my old furnace was working but would shut off randomly).
Ultimately, I went to replace the old furnace and took Louis' recommendation on the upgrade (after double checking his recommendation with my father who ran operations for a multi-national, multi-billion dollar corporation - his recommendation was straight up). The BAHAC team came in, changed out the A/C in one day (even though it took until 9pm!).
Great bunch of guys, get the job done at a reasonable cost, and HONEST - after my nightmares, being able to take a contractor on his word means alot to me.
If you want to contact me about this write up, please message me and I can chat with you directly. Don't just take contractors at their word, please. It will save you alot of heartache and $$$!!!
I've been going to Salon Rache for years. I figured my hair would be pretty straight forward but after a few hack jobs that made me look like I had some weird illness, I went to Matt at Salon Rache. He makes it look as simple as it should be.
I'm now taking my two little daughters to Matt (now that they're old enough). Highly recommend Matt (I can't vouche for the others) if you're looking to get ur hair did!
