I would like to see a little more variety in the items on the buffet. I also did not see the usual sign at the spice and oil station that instructed you on what to add to get your meal to be various levels of spicy or sweet. There was an employee standing there that made some suggestions.
All in all it's pretty darn good Mongolian BBQ (3 and 1/2 stars). No stellar, but I don't expect that from Mongolian BBQ anyway. It's also close to home so that's convenient.

If you're running out of bagels in the middle of breakfast, maybe you need to make more! They make great bagels, but it's not worth my time to drive over there anymore. I also have to agree with a couple of other reviewers, that the service is not exactly stellar here.

I only go here for the bagels, and they are really good. If you're looking for an everything bagel, get their everything bagel stick. It's shaped like a mini loaf of bread, but they're darn good. Weekend mornings can be rather busy, and they sometimes run out of things.
I am knocking off a star for service. I went one weekend and ordered one bagel and a "small" cream cheese. and made a gesture with my finger and thumb meaning really small. The young lady operating the register tried to sell me a small "tub" of cream cheese. When I asked if there was anything smaller she replied "no." At that point another employee asked if I wanted an individual serving of cream cheese. I said yes, and pointed out that an individual serving was smaller than what she was trying to sell me. She responded that if I wanted an individual cream cheese that's what I should have ordered.
The next time I encountered her at the register when buying my bagel (about 3 weeks later), and she asked me if I wanted any cream cheese, I responded "no, I'll walk over to Albertsons and get some!"
Anyway, the bagels are great, and I won't let one bad experience deter me from enjoying their bagels.

The interior of the restaurant was designed to make you feel like you are eating outdoors in Peru. The have a thatched roof covering the tables and murals painted on the wall. I liked the decor as it gave the place an even more authentic feel. What I did not care for was the fact that it was around 70 degrees outside and around 90 degrees inside the restaurant. I really don't care to sit there and sweat while I am eating.
My wife and I ordered a couple of Cusquenas (Peruvian beer). Due to the temperature in the restaurant we drank those and ordered two more. Unfortunately we drank the last two Cusquenas and they brought out Cristal (another Peruvian beer, not the Champagne) instead.
I ordered the Seco de Cordero (a sort of lamb stew) and my wife ordered the fish (I think the Pescado a lo Macho). The food presentation was excellent, especially my wife's fish. She also raved about how good it was. For me my meal was just OK.
What stood out about this experience was sitting in such a hot restaurant. It really did not make for an enjoyable experience.

I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Yet again we waited a fairly long time for the food to show up. I wasn't impressed with my brisket, and my wife felt like the pulled pork had a fair amount of fat in it.
After finishing our meal we again waited a fair amount of time for the check to be dropped off. When the server finally dropped it off, it was litterally as they walked past the table; didn't even slow down. Finally a different server took our check up to the register.
Give my experience at other locations this one was quite a disappointment.

The weekend and holiday schedule is only every two hours so if you are using this as transport between MIA and FLL leave plenty of time to account for this. Also, the shuttle at FLL seems a little less reliable than at MIA.
For dinner, I had the island sampler with alligator, conch fritters and a crab cake. The crab cake was just OK, not a whole lot of flavor and a bit over cooked. I enjoyed the conch fritters and the alligator. My wife had the Greek salad with blackened dolphin fish (mahi). The fish was excellent (flavor and seasoning), but only luke warm. The bread is very good. It's sweet, almost like a dessert. It's baked with some sugar n top
Bar area filled up and became very noisy. Service was good. The drinks here are excellent. I had a patron margarita and my wife had a Bloody Mary made with Absolute Peppar.
I would go back.

I'm surprised at how many people were in such a small terminal. There is only a small stand/cart to buy food at once you get past security, and the options outside security are limited. The American airlines terminal was a little nicer. At least it had a few more food options, was cleaner and a lot less crowded.
I really hated this place.
The hotel itself does not have a full restaurant (they offer breakfast) but a decent sea food restaurant is right next door..

Second, as we drive around to the window there are kids skateboarding and riding scooters in the drive through area. Not real safe. They gave us our cones but only one napkin. The cashier had trouble determining the change we were due.
Finally, it just didn't taste as good as I remember.

We sat in the bar and ordered a margarita, a mango margarita and an appetizer of potato skins and quesadillas. The drinks were quite possibly the worst mixed drinks I've had in my entire life. The margarita tasted like turpentine and lime juice, the mango margarita was even worse. I have to beileve that the person working behind the bar was not the regular bartender.
The potato skins were edible but the quesadilla was gross.
We elected to eat dinner at the hotel!
