Ok. I had stopped in to this place for a beer before, but never had any food until today. I will say that the Clam Chowda is one of the best clam chowders I have ever tasted in my life (and I am even counting all the chowders I had at the Newport Chowderfest!). They should sell it by the bag so I can bring some home to heat up later! I also tried the crispy chicken wings. They were okay, but the potato pancakes were the best! Much better than boring old French Fries or Potato Skins any day. Oh, and the beer is selection is one of the best around. I had a Paulaner. It wasn't the same as having a beer in Germany, but it was pretty close! I'll be back! ;)

I am a fan of their Super-sized Steak Fajita Wrap, but I also enjoy their taco salads & burritos (with guacamole). The only thing I feel they could approve upon is their sour cream. It is like a watered-down version that they squirt out of a bottle - not exactly how I would do it at home!

Quincy Historical Society
Category: Landmarks & Historical Buildings
Today, the Quincy Historical Society is an excellent place to learn a little more about the history of our great country. The Society maintains collections of historical archives and artifacts and its museum & library are open to the public year-round. It also offers a variety of publications and programs for the general public and provides instruction on local history in area schools.
The Society is walking distance from the Quincy Center T stop, and there is a parking lot in the back of the building. If you go, allow about an hour to visit the site, as well as the gift shop! Also keep an eye out for upcoming special events at the Society! Currently, the Quincy Historical Society & the Quincy Art Association are presenting 'Abigail in Perspective', an exhibit of art works in all mediums inspired by Abigail Adams. The show runs until January 8, 2010, so stop by and take a peek! :)
