Wernt there on a Sunday Night and the bar was full with guys. Young guys barely old enough to be twenty one held every seat at the bar. Is this a gay bar??

It is a big place to drink and eat for a downtown suburban place. It is only wise to go in the summer as it offers a more unique outdoor setting compared to the other bars in Naperville. It is the only thing that sets this place aprt from the other numerous bar in area. If you want good food you are better off going to one of the restaurants in the area instead of this place.

This place was lame. It was no cheers from the TV show in Boston. It was kinda dumpy and the workers were slow and unattentive. The place was full of young drunks most of who were not even paying attention to the Chicago Bears game. I don't know why these folks go to a sports pub if they have no interest in watching the game. There are a hundred bars like this one around and I bet there are a huundred better places to go to just in the West Burbs
Im not sure. I think this is the old house bar. It is old and very unique and that is what makes this place special. It is either that house bar or that closed out building down the road. There wasa bar at that ogden location and I don't know if this is the place. The house bar I forgot the name too. The other place was a stand alone sports type looking bar. Im not sure what place is what in this review. i noticed the last review here was 2006 so I am not sure if this review if for the closed business or house bar. I get confused in Lyons.
Cool looking bar. i drove by and saw this bar in the middle of no where. i went in and it was filled with young cap wearing lous onnoxous punks. So it was'nt your old man bar. Maybe it is during the day and morning hours. I like jewel shot and drink bars like this especially in the middle of no where. Another place where they got to blast the music. Why do peopple have to slip in a dollar and force others to hear your bad choice of music. Sigh. No wonder my best bar momments is when there are hardly anybody in the place
Not a bad little bar. i went my usual bar hopping solo runs in Skokie the other day. I tried to watch some late afternoon football but they had the juke box blaring. It was really loud. It is kinda small, but for Skokie this is a classy place. the crowd looks kinda young and snobbish even for a sunday so keep that in mind if you go on a weekend. they had a small but expensive menu choice. Not many beer choices,but as long as they have guiness that is good enough.
More of a bar look than a restaurnat. It looks really nicer inside. Very good sandwiches adn good selection of Beer. I was really impressed with this place and is the best looking of the bars in the area. It is near a bike path too where you can walk of if you caonsume too much beer. I could not find a complaint as it looks small on outside. but as patio and upstairs. A wide variety of menu items as well
Nice little bar. Owner has owned the bar for thirty years. It has three poker machines,old patrons, and some good steak for Monday Night Football on Monday nights. Support your local small dive bars as they are part of Americana.Dundee is a great area for you young folks too for bar hopping. Just don't get too loud and obnoxous as that is reason we older folks don't want to go to bars. It is called maturity.

This place has cheap beer. It is a dump and reminds me of the Boar's nest from the Dukes of Hazzard. The only difference it is filled with snobbinsh yuppies who like screaming music. I mean thie music here is so bad. All because you yell ina microphone that should not qualify you as a band. The food is bad and I can't understand why this place so crowded. I guess young folks in Barrington area just cannot stay at home in their parents big houses on the weekend. They will flock and crowd a dump like the Penny road pub and make owner very rich. I am sure the owner lives near by in a house that is three times bigger than this old dumpy bar house that needs many repairs.

This bar is bad. Bartender ignores you unless you are in a group. The food is just cheap andf over priced. It is small and on an ugly street in an ugly town. The parking is pretty bad and the crowd sucks. The bathrooms were filthy and the Tv's were tiny. I thought I was back i the eighties with the TV and the decor of the place. There is not one worthy redeeming thing at this bar.
