I love moo. When I was looking to oder new business cards I was recommended to Moo by my sister. The designs were cute and and easily customizable. I picked a fun little number that I thought fit my style and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it came with 5 different background patterns for free - which means if you ever get a business card from me it will indeed be different than the one I gave out previously - yay for you! Once I did the payment thing they sent me a little email letting me know when the cards would be here and low and behold on the exact day they promised those adorable little cards were in my hands and now ready to go out to the world. I would highly recommend you check them out if you're looking for anything personal. They also do fun things like stickers and greeting cards and things like that. Super fun.

Still my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. For me it's the fact that the food is simple, the craft beer list is extensive and the prices are good. It doesn't take much to make me happy, just simple good food and Deckards has that. The fact that someone always pops by the table to check on our meal also helps but it is still fantastic. My favorite thing on the menu to date? The sweet corn and the grilled chicken sandwich although everything is amazing.

I have been getting my hair cut by Maureen for a little over a year now and I love love love her. She took 8 inches off my hair a year ago and we are not in the process of growing it back. Every time I walk out of the salon I am happy and have pretty hair. I would send anyone to see her and I highly recommend the salon as a whole. My favorite part? I never feel as though she's trying to sell me product, but know that if I want to know more about the gunk she puts in my hair she'll have more information than I ever need. Which is pretty much why I walked out with new hair oil today designed to make my hair even prettier in the summer. Love it.

I am in the process of the apartment hunt again and being the overly anal organized person I'm in have started much earlier than most. Almost 5 months early. But here's the thing, apartments are different in the summer than the winter and if I have the time to take a tour now - that's what I'm going to do. Other complexes I've toured have completely understood, they answered questions - showed me available units and were warm and welcoming - providing literature and information without being asked. Berkley Heights - not so much. The minute they realized we weren't moving right away we went on the "tour" aka running through the apartment complex at breakneck speed with no time to look around or ask questions. When I did ask questions I was brushed off and felt unimportant. It was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had and based on that alone I will not be renting an apartment from Berkeley Heights. While I might not have been moving tomorrow, I am moving and if the management doesn't care about potential business, I'm not sure I want to know how they treat their current tenants.

Yum. Yum. and Yum. The boy and I popped over there yesterday after a day of running errands and I have to say the warm fresh waffle bowl warmed my little heart in the hot GA heat. I was sad that my coveted banana pudding ice cream was not on the menu that day - but the chocolate hazelnut gelato we replaced it with was a solid substitute. If you like the person you're with I recommend ordering two scoops and splitting in a waffle bowl (plenty of goodness) but I know some people are shady and sometimes I'm feeling greedy so if you're feeling like that - get your own. It's worth it.

I got to know the Meehan's gang back when they were one of my clients and I have loved them ever since. Every time I head inside I am blown away by the wood decor and fun atmosphere. It's the perfect place to watch a parade (Dragon Con anyone) with a good beer and better food. It's also a fantastic spot to grab a bite before or after a downtown event. Even better? They validate parking at one of the lots around the corner so call ahead and ask which one because I can't remember off the top of my head. But seriously check it out. I love it down there.

So so much fun and so much bigger and better than I remember. I would highly recommend for a weekend away or even just a fantastic day trip between the beach, the biking, the flowers and the tree top course -  Callaway is a place that I would get away too again. Well done.

Love this place. I really enjoy that you can rock in a chair outside while waiting for your table. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. I also love that the portions are huge so you really get what you pay for. My favorite? The dirty rice. Actually just writing this review makes me want to pop up to Marietta and get some tonight.... hmmmm..... just go. I would recommend for a nice night out - maybe an anniversary or special occasion.

So So Yummy. If you're ever in Scottsdale I recommend you stop by and try the breakfast burrito. One of the best I ever had. The restaurant is small and table space is limited but there's plenty of outdoor seating if you're willing to brave the AZ heat. I am not in the slightest. But the service was good, the food fun and i'll probably go there for breakfast or lunch next time I'm in Scottsdale.

So a couple weeks ago I ordered some things from http://Vistaprint.com. I'm sure you've heard of them. They print custom everything for cheap. You just pop on their website, plug in what you want and voila! with their never ending sales and discounts you get 10000 of whatever it is you ordered for $10. Not a terrible system. I've ordered from them before and clearly was happy enough with their product to return.

However, after placing my order, I canceled it. Immediately. It hadn't even been in their system for 5 minutes. Vistaprint told me my order was canceled, my monies would be returned and I went on my merry little way. Last night (I didn't want to post late-night so welcome to the world of scheduled blog posts kids) I was being super responsible and trying to muddle through the craziness that is an online debit card statement. That process went something like this: Taco Mac: Yes. Banana Republic: Yes. Atlanta Airport? WHAT!!! There's no way I spent $25 at the airport.... oooooh parking. Yes. And so on and so forth until I came to my Vistaprint charge. Imagine my surprise given that I had canceled the order, that had been confirmed  and I was supposed to be getting my $$ back.

After sitting on hold with customer service for a couple minutes I was informed that the standard policy for Vistaprint returns is to issue a Vistaprint credit. You are still charged for your oder, but don't worry! They have your money on file so you can go back and use it with their company. Customer service man didn't sound very surprised when my voice quickly turned from cheery Michelle to boss b**** Michelle and demanded a refund. I think this happens quite a bit with Vistaprint. After being reassured that I would be getting my $$ back and would also be receiving an email to that effect, I hung up and pondered.

Did Vistaprint probably tell me that I would be getting a credit for my order? More than likely. Did they promptly refund my money when I called and complained? Without a doubt. But the thing about it for me was the sneakiness of the whole situation. In the everyday world when you return something you get your money back. That is unless you don't have a receipt, it was a gift, etc. Those situations store credit is perfectly acceptable. This one seemed sneaky and underhanded. I understand wanting to keep your customer base coming back and turning into repeat buyers, but that's what the seemingly never-ending sales and free shipping is for. The fact that I can get 100000 of whatevers for $10 at a decent quality is what keeps me coming back. You don't need to credit my money as well.

So the question for me now is this. Does the solid customer service and low prices over-ride the sketchiness of the non-refund and the fact that I had to actually call someone to get my money back? Do I return to Vistaprint or not.... It's a tough choice.
