This place has style and a FANTASTIC patio, but I worry about it in the winter months. The food was just not great. The guacamole (EIGHT DOLLARS) was like baby food and the salsa was watery (FIVE DOLLARS NO REFILLS)

My mom ordered the squash blossoms which were really beautiful and picture worthy and tasted great actually, but for 12 bucks it was the smallest amount of food I'd ever seen. The fish tacos were good, but they were build your own, not like in the fun "share with your friends" fajita way, but in the "here is a chunk of fish and some cabbage with a lime wedge, you do it!" way.

I heard the waitress say that "everything on the menu is local and organic" and then I heard her say "well almost everything" -- and I looked through the menu and didn't see many ingredients that could be... maybe she meant just the meats. I don't know where they grow Avocados and Pineapples in WA.

ANYWAYS. 5 points for cool vibe and killer view patio. I'd go back for a beer and some live music, but probably nothing else until they change it up. When I want Mexican food I want spice and cheese and to not spend $$ and I also want bottomless diet cokes with my chips, and these come in cans (not cool, not green).

Fish Tacos, Salsa + Gauc, Squash Blossoms and 3 sodas = $60 bucks plus tip. YIKES.

Love, Kathleen

The green onion pancakes and the shaved noodles are amazing. Just amazing. I even got brave and ordered a seaweed and tofu soup that was surprisingly delicious! They give you tea and little nibbles of seasoned peanuts and spicy greens (cabbage?) while you wait. Loved every taste.

The decor is a little like American Psycho meets Joe Versus the Volcano, but the service and food make it worth coming back to!

Oh and we were the only ones not eating the "pot" meal, so we'll have to check that out next time.

Nummy nummy.

Update! I went! So I really can't say much except, best dental appointment I can remember :)

It all happened so fast and painlessly -  Kyle Beffa was gentle and personable - asking all the right questions, but not while his fingers were in my mouth.

I got the $150 new patient deal which is great since I don't have dental insurance! I will be back.

I've visited the office - so friendly! 5 stars so far.

And I have an appointment next Thursday, so I'll update my review then when my mouth is numb and I'm drooling on my keyboard :)

OK so I'm here to let you know that since last I went, 35th St Bistro has revamped their interior AND their brunch menu. YUM. SOOO much better. 2 stars better in fact. The breakfast sammies were not amazing but they were good. The frites were delish and the mussels were plump! I wanted to order all of their salads (which are smallish but yummy and inventive). Perfect place to take the rents to brunch and guess what...? NO WAIT! Show owner comment »

Last time we came here it took them over 15 minutes to even acknowledge that we would like a seat. So we left.

This time the service was great (until i wanted a refill on my coffee and some salt on the table) but the food proved to be uninspired in the kitchen, despite the very unique and inspired descriptions on the menu. Great vibe for brunch, but we did not leave feeling full or satisfied, which was tragic because we could have gone to some good places for half the price.

I had the salmon hash and Austin had to eggs Benedict, both were sub-par.

Went on a pre-Vday dinner here, and LOVED it. The experience is made wonderful by the awesome waitstaff and their even more awesome aprons. Expect tight seating and a little noise since you are sitting very close to people, but also expect great food, a great vibe and even flattering lighting!

The small plates (beet salad, cheeses, etc) are indeed small, but a few of those plus an entree is plenty for a meal! Oh and they have a great and very affordable bottle of  house wine.

Also, love Verve Wine Bar, which is a block away. Perfect place to go and stimulate your palette before dinner at Medusa.

Feels like an airport bar, always empty and sad. The food is not good and the service is sub-par.

Outdoor seating is a plus, but I've never experienced it in the summa' time. IF the margaritas weren't made with shitty bright yellow mix and served in fish bowls I might go there for happy hour. (La Carta de Oaxaca you've made me a snob).

OH! and going to the restroom is kinda a pain (similar to Pink Door, outside of restaurant and you need a code)

They have cool chairs though.

OK for lunch (speed and location), but not good really. The service is good. It is counter service and I kinda want to give it 5 stars because the little man who served me was so cute and smiley.

The food is bland and the drink selection is pretty much Pepsi or Orange drink..

I had the fish tacos, they were... meh. Chips and salsa come with each meal. The chips are actually really good (light but crispy), the salsa is watery.

I had chips/salsa (free), fish tacos (with refried beans and rice), added guac (75¢)  and an orange soda for $12 (tip included).

I wanted to love you Sabor, I really did.

I LOVE The Redwood. It feels like a little secret dive bar, even though it clearly isn't. There drinks selection is basic but the vibe and decor is fantastic. You can throw peanuts on the floor and play pinball games and watch movies or sports.

Their brunch (food and coffee) blows, but they will let you linger forever which is nice when you wanna digest the paper or watch a game.

GREAT music and staff at all times and usually a good turn out of local and non local musicians looking for a place to wet their whistle.

I feel upset when something is #1 on Yelp! and I haven't been yet. So I went.

Did I go to the same store as everyone else did? Seems so, but after seeing a white bathingsuit that had obviously been worn by someone when Aunt Flo was visiting, I had to leave.

The small size is appealing, but I'm not sure what all the hype is about. Sorry Sugartown Vintage... your logo is way more awesome than your store.

The big picture is my favorite place to see movies for so many reasons. It is small, it serves cocktails during the movie and serves popcorn in champage buckets. The staff is awesome and on Mondays and Tuesdays, my favorite day to go to movies, it is 4 dollars cheaper! Best date place EVER.

The movies they get here can be sub-par, but every once in a while they get some gems and they get really busy, so either wait for it to lull, go to the early show, or buy tickets way in advance ( you can get them online now!)

They also have fantastic gift options if you are at a loss for what to get a friend or even a client that lives in the area.
