Marie is very sweet, the best barber!
She does men's haircuts and you will be very pleased with your results AND your service. It's a steal for just $16 with shampoo for a mens haircut .

If you do nothing else, do get the lobster bisque.

Apart from the fantastic soup, they have fast service, the most ADORABLE tea room and fantastic food. I ordered the Chicken Salad croissant with a cup of the lobster bisque and it was FANTASTIC.

I'm not usually big on American food but since we had a 12 for 25 coupon we stopped in. I am so glad we did. The tea that came served in a fat adorable teapot was also quite good. I ordered a Ceylon and finished every last drop.

The meals come with a chocolate dipped strawberry, a little muffin and some crackers. I can't imagine anyone leaving here hungry. I was definitely stuffed.

I didn't have any space for their desserts but I am already planning on dropping in again since I'm around there about once a week.

Good food, quiet atmosphere and lovely ambiance. Definitely drop in.

This is a beautifully decorated place! If you want some good country ambiance mixed with a little modern flair, this place is it! Music from the forties plays over the speakers and the service is friendly and fast! The food was delicious and the price very reasonable. Thinking of dropping by a chain like IHOP for breakfast? Think again. For the same Dollar you get so much more!

i went with them and the total bill came to almost a 900 dollars.
And the stuff they said would be covered by insurance wasn't. I got a bill from my insurance for another 130 dollars.

They said I had four cavities, needed laser therapy to remove necrotic tissue and a deep cleaning.

I've never had a cavity my entire adult life and thought it was strange. I footed the bill like an idiot.

Reading numerous reviews, something I should have done beforehand, now helps me understand that this place is well known for ripping people off.

Please beware!

This place is total crap for a few reasons:

1. The Staff is really really rude and is way more interested in being lazy and covering their rear ends than helping you out.

2. If you're going to get visitors, the people walking the lots to check for illegal parking cars are blind as bats and probably just as stupid. They will have your car towed even if the visitor pass if visible.  Enjoy getting your car back from their favorite towing place. The HOA will NOT refund your 125+ dollars you'll have to pay.

3. Just avoid this place. It's run by very unprofessional people and there are MUCH better options.

Zest Sushi and Tapas

My mother and I were just strolling on Canton street when we noticed Zest's new sign. I'm a sucker for trying new places and tapas sounded really good for an afternoon snack so we went in and were seated promptly.  We were the only two people in there.

The water was very friendly and served us quickly. We ordered a caterpilar roll and the beef tacos.  OMG the tacos were delicious! They certainly didn't skimp on the juicy shreds of beef (not ground, people!) and were quite filling. The sushi was delivered looking awesome and it tasted even better than it looked.

We also ordered tea and they brought out Revolution Tea, one of my favorite brands, which really tipped the meal from good to awesome.

The final touch was the creme brulee and it was so good. It's just the right amount for two people and quite delicious.

Overall, we walked out of there satiated and happy, not overfull and stuffed, which is what I prefer. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

If you would like to read this review with the photos I took of my dishes go here: http://www.unbrokenhor...

I was part of a group of about 30 people out to celebrate a friend's birthday. Reservations were made back in December for this past Saturday night (22nd of January).

Once enough people arrived we were seated in a separate room and the waiters started taking drink orders. I ordered a Mango Bellini ($9). If you've ever had Mango Lassi it smells exactly like it but when it hits your tongue it's like a mango champagne. It was quite good. My friend had the Strawberry Lemon Drop ($9) but said it barely had any liquor in it and tasted just like strawberry lemonade. Not worth the price tag.

I ordered the Korean Short Rib ($24) for dinner and it was DELICIOUS. The beef was so good. Soft, buttery and there was absolutely no need for a knife.  It was succulent and easily the best  beef dish I had in the last six months. This is a real winner. It was served with some kimchi, and some wasabi mashed potatos. I can't say I enjoyed the wasabi potatos as they were just a little too strong but the kimchi was perfect: The right mix of spicy, pungent and sour.

Dessert was a plate of green tea ice cream ($4). Not worth it at all. It didn't even taste as good as the stuff you find in the H-Mart freezers. Neither the flavor of the dairy nor the green tea came out very well.

Overall the experience was good. The potatoes could use some work and they definitely need to find a new supplier for their ice cream.  The beef made the dinner though. Thinking about it makes me smile. Kudos to the chef for the beef that night.

Final Verdict: 4 stars. Give it a go. It's a great place to take a date.

This place is simply adorable. While you have to call ahead to get a reservation, they aren't so full that you can't get one one or two hours from your inquiry.

When we walked in I noticed first the the southern, whitewashed and earthy decor that makes this place exude a classic deep south feel. The tables are a bit small but I didn't mind. We were seated in one of the few rooms. The restaurant looks like a house and the rooms are organized as such.

The waitstaff is quick to take the order and are willing to make substitutions and downsize entrees if asked.  I have a feeling this is only during times they are not too busy, however.

The food does take a while to come out but the charming atmosphere makes for good conversation while you wait. When the food does come out, it's nicely arranged and looks delicious.

My friend and I were there for brunch. I had their sweet potato pancakes and two sunny side up eggs with toast. The pancakes were very very rich and delicious. They're actually quite soft to the point of mushyness. I couldn't quite tell if I was eating a pancake or mashed sweet potato bread after a while. The texture was divine.

The eggs and toast were fine. Nothing special about them but how special can you make eggs and toast?

Overall I had a good experience here. If you don't mind the wait for such good food, this is a great place to stop for brunch.

This bakery is like a mini Mozart Bakery. Same kind of decor with the exception of tons of Vincent Van Gogh prints everywhere. It's got a few small tables and chairs off to one side but the actual bakery part of it is up front. It's easy to pop in and out. I have had their coffee cream breads and they're quite good. It seems like it's exactly the same as the stuff you find at Mozart, just a little cheaper. I thought it was good, and I recommend it.

Le Mekong

I visited Le Mekong with some coworkers, in a group of about 10, to celebrate a couple birthdays. They seated us immediately and were attentive while we made our menu choices.  The waiter and watresses didn't have tables assigned to them and they served whoever needed it. This was good since we were well attended to as a result. Once we ordered, they brought the appetizers out quickly and we could snack while we waited on the main dishes. We had a spicy curry cream cheese rangoon. Hot cream cheese sounds like it would be gross at first but the zing and perfectly fried wrapper actually makes it delicious. I recommend it if you're ordering an appetizer. We started getting our meals not long after, but in random order. Unlike most sit downs they didn't bring out the food all at once for everyone so some of us had food and some of us didn't over about a 5-8 minute period. That can be awkward if you're one of those people who likes to wait til everyone has their stuff before you eat. It didn't matter to our group so we were fine with it. The food was pretty good! I ordered their special Pho, which had six cuts of beef in it. Their regular bowl is about the same as most other Pho restaurant's medium bowls. Soup was good, and the beef was delicious. I only put a dent in it and took two thirds of it home. Not bad for a dish under eight dollars! We had a good time and they were attentive during our meal and also when it was time to pay the bill.  None of the others had any complaints about their food, and as far as I can tell, enjoyed it thoroughly. So if you like good vietnamese in a clean environment where you're well taken care of, this is the place!
