You can also purchase various fatty bagged snacks and lotto products galore.
And if you're driving around without a shirt you can buy one here for a low price. That way, when you roll into Jack in the Box later, you can get served!
Nice bowl cut...
After being disappointed, once again, with the "24-hour" Alberto's on Hot Springs being closed, I had to settle for the only 24-hour "mexican" option in my area. I was hoping that I wasn't going to be disappointed, but at 3am all there's room for is disappointment.
I order a couple of Del Carbon tacos and a pair of crunchy beef tacos. The del carbons were ok, a little on the chewy side as far as the meat is concerned. I had to dispose of several pieces of fat which didn't add to the experience. The crunchy tacos were fine. No complaints there.
The quality is not as good as when I first experienced Del Taco. It really is very much like Taco Bell. Maybe if I weren't sober it would've tasted much better, but when you have full control of all of your senses, then Del Taco should never be an option for you.
Are you sure...

The run is decent at times. I've yet to play a game while not wearing my ipod. That only happens back east really. They majority of guys are also friendly, no trash talking or cursing of any kind for that matter. The main court isn't regulation, so if you're out of shape you can probably handle 2 or 3 possessions before you start sweating profusely.
The second floor gym is super cramped. I'd have to disagree with other reviewers on this point. The free weight section is tight and if you need some floor space to do ab work, then you should introduce yourself to the person to the left and right of you because you will bump into each other during your routine.
Being at this gym makes me appreciate my Active in Murrieta and my Sport in Temecula so much more.

Don't get me wrong, the guys that play ball here are all friendly and usually introduce themselves before every game, which I thought was weird--that only really happens back east. But the lack of decent ballers is evident when you're 6'0" and have someone 5'5" trying to guard you.
The greatest detraction of the basketball gym is the size. You can't run two full-court games at once. The normal 6 rims at any standard indoor gym are missing here, as there are only 4. As an added danger, the roof leaks, so be on the lookout for huge wet spots on the floor. Nothing ends your day sooner than making a cut at full speed on a wet spot. I've seen too many guys bang their faces on the floor to know that running is not an option when it's raining.
This seems to be the 24-Hour location that corporate forgot. Leaky roofs don't mix well with basketball gyms, but they do mix well with pulled groin muscles and unintended van damme splits.
Careful, careful...

Since this restaurant recently opened, they are running a special on their hamburger. The normal price is about $2.50, but the "sale" price is temporarily $.99. You really can't get a better, bigger or tastier burger for that price anywhere else. The burger is huge and will definitely fill you up. They are also promoting a breakfast burrito for $2.79, which is also a pretty fair deal.
The fries could use some work. I forgot to ask for unsalted fries, so of course I got the dregs. They were so oily and kind of grayish but I couldn't stop eating them. After a while, I began to question my judgement with each fry, but I couldn't stop. The price of an order of small fries is ridiculous ($2.29). So if you really want to save some hard earned quarters, go to the Carl's Jr. across the street for some $1 fries.
Their side bar is stocked with the usual suspects, pickled peppers and other veggies alongside various salsas and pico de gallo. I passed on the Pepsi soda fountain and elected to purchase a drink from the Chevron across the street.
I think these fries have crack sprinkled on them...

Discount Auto & Tire Service
Categories: Auto Repair, Tires
Don't expect to get matching tires here. This place should only be visited if you're a little on the broke side or if you just need a tire or two replaced until you can get to a real tire center.
The cost for a single tire is $25, which includes disposal of your former tire as well as wheel mounting and balancing. This place can get pretty busy, so be prepared to wait. Luckily there are tons of outdated magazines in the waiting area. I was finally able to catch up on the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic battery fracas.
The restroom is cleaner than what you would expect, but does look dilapidated nonetheless.
Remember, used tires are only good for a maximum of 10,000 miles before the tread totally wears out.
A necessary evil...
Each time I've gone I was greeted warmly and served promptly. The biggest problem with this place is that it's a bit hard to find. It's nestled behind a Valero's and if you're driving above the speed limit on the Temecula Parkway, you're going to miss the driveway to this place.
And if you do miss the driveway, you'll probably end up just pulling into the Del Taco instead.
But if you do happen to make it here, you won't be disappointed with your order. They do good work here and their prices rival the much larger chains.
Not so fast...
I was here again today for 2 cheese slices. I was debating on whether or not to eat them in the restaurant and I eventually decided to take them to go. I prefer eating pizza while standing up, and since this place doesn't have a lunch counter, I ate my slice next to my car.
The pizza is truly delicious. Does it supplant Pizza Town? Absolutely not. But that isn't a bad thing. Pizza Town is the only pizzeria I've given a 5 star rating to. But Bongiorno's is close. Their only detraction, and it's a big one, is their price point. At Pizza Town, I can order 2 cheese slices and a cup of Birch Beer for under $5, at any time of day.
At Bongiorno's, 2 cheese slices are $5. If you want a drink it's a dollar extra. But as far as taste, consistency, smell and sheen; Bongiorno's has no contemporaries in Riverside County.
You're super close...

My first day back in Cali and the only thing on my mind is pizza. I don't know why this was so since Cali doesn't offer legit NY-style pizza. I remembered seeing a sign on 79 once about this pizzeria advertising pizza by the slice. My expectations were low and my hunger/craving was high. I would've been ok with some Little Caesar's at that point.
I walk in at about 2pm and there are only 2 people dining. I don't find anything wrong with that since its an off time. At the counter are several pies offered by the slice. I select a slice of cheese and a slice of the margherita. I also order a drink to make it a combo ($7.00). The first refill is free and its self-serve. It's a Coke fountain so I'm happy.
The cashier brings the warmed slices to my table and I notice something very weird. There is a sheen on the pizza, like what you would see on a pizza back east. I thought that was interesting, but I'm still highly skeptical. I take a bite of the cheese slice and was floored. Was I at Angelo's in Maywood? Because this tasted exactly like Angelo's. I take another bite and the result is the same. Great cheese, mild sauce and superior crunch. The crust was phenomenal as well.
The margherita slice is comparable to anything in Jersey. Very impressive and very delicious. I think I may go back later for another pair of slices. I need to know if this is real or not. Because as it stands, this is the most legit pizzeria I've ever been to in California. And what makes it exponentially phenomenal is the fact that its in walking distance from my home.
Holy crap...

Garden Cleaners

You can find them right next to the Rite Aid. The store is family-owned and operated. You will always deal with the owners when you're dropping off or picking up your clothes.
They were the only cleaners I ever knew of when I lived in New Jersey. My parents would go here while I was growing up and I ended up following suit when I became of "dry-cleaning" age. It's such an interesting dynamic when you're a regular at a store for so long. Are you friends? If you are, then why do I have to pay you full price to have my garments cleaned and pressed? I mean, you've seen me grow up for crying out loud!
We're not friends...

I went with a glass of milk to complete the breakfast...I guess I'm still a kid at heart. However, $1.75 for the milk is a bit on the high side. But for a growing boy, no expense can be spared.
The place was fairly empty at 9am. I'm assuming that since its still a fairly new restaurant, it hasn't caught on just yet. Plus the fact that Richie's Diner is only a few thousand feet down the road doesn't help either.
They do have plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials so I'm sure you'll find something that will satisfy your palate.
Not pretentious at all...
