Susie's Laundromat & Dry Cleaners

It's only going to be a one time shot for me as I'm an out of towner just in doing some laundry as well as dry cleaning a two piece uniform (poplin shirt and pants).

They have a great website (unexpected for a dry cleaners) and they offer free WiFi.  It's a great place overall with a Huckleberry's Natural Market right next door to make the laundry cleaning time zoom by.  Did I mention that the WiFi is actually pretty quick too?  I'm writing the review as I sit here!

The staff is amazingly helpful and polite and the environment is actually delightful as opposed to most dry cleaners.  If I lived in the area, I wouldn't mind getting a place w/o laundry services and would just come here on a weekly basis!

They have front load washers for an extra dollar more than the normal top loaders ($1.50) and the dryer cost $0.25 per 6 minutes.  Just make sure to clean out the lint traps first as they tend to be a little full.

Horrible service. Rude and bitchy.  After waiting "too long" with tables completely empty all around, we were still standing and left.

The music is really loud but the food is great! Mashed pizza FTW! The mango mojitos are amazing too. (says my wife)

This is apparently the place to be as you see a lot of businessmen / women hanging around in the lobby using wifi or what not.  The hotel itself is really close to the Washington National Reagan airport which proves convenient and the shuttle service is very prompt.  Don't show up late or the bus will leave you.

Upstairs houses the moving restaurant / bar which is a nice added touch.  Close to malls and restaurants, it makes for a very easy place to stay while in DC.  The rooms are large and the internet was actually usable.

Solid 3 stars. Friendliness was there but the food wasn't. I ordered the Taste of Thai or something along those lines, perhaps World of Thai that included red, masaman and green separated in three different bowls + a bowl of rice. Also included was either a soup or salad. In this case, I went with the coconut soup w/ chicken.

Chicken was sparse in the soup. More or less it was just literally soup. The currys were alright. Standing out was the masaman which actually had some good pieces of chicken while the other two left more to be desired.

The Thai Icea Tea was standard and that actually made the meal for me.

Amazing food & service.  Recovering from a drunken night of debauchery, the roomy and I were looking for a different place for breakfast aside from the usual Highland Bakery or West Egg.  Referring to Yelp! we found this place which was only 2 miles from the apartment.

Upon walking in, we almost left because it didn't shout out BREAKFAST food b/c of the pictures of kabobs and other Mediterranean dishes. As we ventured inside, we met with Van, who helped up order some great food.  The weekend specials are awesome and the coffee / tea pairings are really great.  Everything is baked fresh and very enjoyable.  I'll be coming here often.

Great restaurant and a no frills, mediocre gym w/ 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, one incumbent bicycle and some free weights.

The hotel provides a shuttle only for to & from the Cincinnati Airport which kind of sucks being that they could easily shuttle you around the nearby area especially during the winter.

Some of the front desk people are awesome to talk to and interact with but there are the ones that are the exact opposite.

The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and I liked the pillows. The Bistro 737 restaurant has a Standard American Grill type menu w/ nothing out if the ordinary of a hotel restaurant.

The bar does serve Kentucky  Burbon Ale for $6.00 a bottle which is a but more than usual but I guess they have to maintain Ms. Hilton habits w/ their high costs.

I have to admit that after reading all the recent negative reviews that I was a little hesitant to enter, sit down and partake.  We were greeted right away, sat down immediately (granted it was a Sunday night and almost empty) and got right to it.  We had a couple of glasses of wine, some risotto and a steak.  Nothing to boast about personally although I remember the servers being really nice.  Expect downtown prices.

I haven't smoke cigars in a long time, nor have I really ever smoked two back to back, but this place makes you wanna hang out for hours and have drinks, food and multiple cigars.  Great couches, the wings were recommended and very tasty (I can't say that I'm a big fan of eating where there is smoke, but if one is hungry...), and a good cigar menu with knowledgeable wait staff about which one to choose when looking for a certain type.

The drinks are normal priced but after I was done, my bill was about as high as it would be eating at Ruth's Chris.  (2 cigars, 1 drink, and wings) One of the only smoking places in DC, there are cubbies / private humidors for companies and individuals all along the wall.  Check them out as it's quite interesting to browse through the name tags of whom holds a box.

The ambiance can be compared to sitting in a hunting lodge somewhere in the middle of the Rockies or somewhere in Alaska.  You'll definitely come out of the place smelling like cigar smoke, but a night out with the boys makes it always worth the experience.  When I mean a boys night out, I swear that only ladies in the place were the waitresses.

Location is great but the gym is poorly maintained along with the pool. One treadmill was broke months ago and still is. The other has a loose belt which just about killed me.  One of the bike's digital readout didn't function while the other HR monitor handles were messed up.   Fix the darn place already!

Staff is great, food is alright and the rooms are clean hence the two stars.
