So much fun. I just wish we both had the time to do it more often.

Boy texted me on Friday morning asking me if i wanted to take free tango lessons. WAS THAT EVEN A QUESTION? Of course! Printed out the coupon off their website and headed over.

We were a bit early and checked out the class before us, and the Viennese Waltz class was there. The class we had was for the Argentinian Tango and being the beginning class and the first one, we learned some partner stuff and I had tons of fun with him, especially letting him lead. I just wish that we could go ballroom dancing more often. It might seem like a class for older people, but damn, this was just too much fun.

We were pretty good by the end, but that's just because I've done a bit of ballroom dancing before and apparently, the boy had taken an Argentinian Tango class before - great.

Anyways, we'll definitely be back, whenever we get more set schedules - that's what I get for being with someone who works in a hospital.

Whenever we go to Kingdom of Dumpling, we notice that this place was across the street, but somehow everytime we go, it was closed. This time though, it was open!

The boy ordered the hawaiian cinnamon roll and the sweet potato roll. The hawaiian roll was definitely my favorite. DAMN, it was good. Pineapple and coconut together. The sweet potato one was okay. I couldn't really tell the difference between a regular one and the sweet potato one. Oh well, it happens.

Definitely interesting and fun to have!

We came here well on a double date because 1) the bf didn't want to eat any more asian food (weird i know) and 2) he was working so we needed to eat somewhere on the Richmond side of stuff.

I ordered the lamb and the boy ordered the salmon kebobs. It was REALLY good. Lamb was so tender and delicious. The salmon was delicious as well, very well cooked and portions are really big, but oh so good.

Overall, we had great service, and a wonderful time with friends.

Damn this place is god.

We ordered so many things when we got here. Call first, since they don't take reservations, but you might be able to get seated faster. We didn't, but we were seated within 15-20 mins at the low bar in front of the kitchen. So much fun to watch the kitchen staff.

We ordered:
-Empanada con Deshebrada de Res
-Taquitos de Papas Adobadas
-Quesadilla Roja con Chicharrón
-Carnitas
and to finish off a mango popsicle.

The empanada was so delicious. The beef and spices just melted together with a slightly spicy note, but oh so good. I was going to eat the whole thing, but alas, I was with someone else.

The taquitos were probably the biggest disappointment. I loved the guacamole, but the taquito shells were just a touch bit hard for me. Not horrible, but not the best dish either.

The quesadilla was amazing. Pork belly? I'm in. The flavors melded so well together and I am getting hungry for one as I type about it. A bit hard to eat with a fork and knife, but oh so good.

The carnitas (on the 7x7 list) were so tender and delicious. So simple to make, yet these were melt in your mouth and oh so good. They come with tortillas and since the two of us were sharing, the waiter brought us more whenever we ran out. That's great service!

The mango popsicle tasted like mango, which is actually pretty surprising. I imagined a fake mango flavor, but this tasted as it it was mangos juiced and frozen in this form. It was a great, delightful ending to my meal.

I will say that the garbonzo beans at the beginning of the meal and the mexican wedding cakes (which are cookies) at the end were wonderful additions to our meal as well! I really enjoyed those free items!

Wait staff was really amazing. They were so nice and make sure that everything went smoothly. I love this place. I'm sure we'll be back when we want a classier Mexican experience than Gordo's across the street.

DAMN, this stuff is spicy.

The Chicken Tikki Masala Burrito is great. The creamy sauce is wonderful; the rice is great too. The chicken was flavorful as well. The mango lassi is a great way to kill the heat from the burrito.

The deconstructed samosa is great. The spice is strong, but its still good.

I love going to off the grid and getting this food. Although I will warn you, they sell out of the mango lassi within the first couple of hours and they make the burritos beforehand, but that's all okay.

Will have to try some of the other stuff; the naughty naan...sounds interesting.

Like what everyone here has said so far, TRICIA is amazing. The first time I saw was at Cutlery - she did an amazing job on my eyebrows and that was months ago. With work being busy, I've kind of "let myself go" I decided to go back in and get my eyebrows waxed and a brazillian. She remembered me from the first time around...that's customer service.

Haven't gotten anything waxed in a while, and she was great. She's a great person to talk to! Scheduled my appointment the day of online. it was simple and easy.

After a fattening day, we trekked home and decided we wanted some dessert, but what? We could go to our regular spots in the inner sunset, but then I remembered seeing this place opening and damn, the place was just calling to us. and i have fallen in love. Almost worth the walking the 1/2 mile there and back. .

First we saw the ice cream. and damn get a ticket and try some flavors, but we ordered the tropical fruit sundae with coconut ice cream, passionfruit sorbet, and roasted pineapple ice cream. They are all delicious. the coconut was my least favorite, but that's okay. The passionfruit one was delicious. Shared between the two of us, it wasn't too bad.

In the back, they have like a soda shoppe. where you can make your own soda if you want or make one of the original sodas they already have. OMG SO GOOD. We wanted to get the lover's game with my lover, but they didnt have anymore, so we ended up getting the new orleans hangover. coffee ice cream with basically coffee soda..we'll be making our own version with some alcohol to make everything more fun of course!

We'll have to try the other sodas, they seem so interesting. I'm so curious about the chemistry stuff.

Reading my friend's quick tip in the car ride over - long lines at 7pm, and we were driving over on a saturday at 7. Damn, we'll probably have to wait. Oh wait, we found parking right outside the restaurant? there's no line and plenty of tables? Oh well I guess we just have great luck. The boy actually saw some of his students there, kind of awkward, but it happens.

I ordered the new mexican homestyle chicken enchilada that was delicious! The portions were a bit big, but damn, so delicious. The chicken was tender and it was smothered in this green sauce and definitely worth every bite.

The boy ordered the tamales. he seemed to like them, but then again, we like our mexican food.

the boy's dad ordered the carne adovada, spicy, but not overly so. Apparently not too authentic. Delicious though.

The boy's mom ordered a 1/4? maybe a 1/2 chicken, looked pretty good.

We also got the sopapillas. they're like fried bread that's kind of puffy. It's weird looking at first, but so delicious esp with their red chili honey.

by the time we left around 830, the place was packed and definitely really hard to get seats, apparently just down the street they have a place to get pies or something. sounds interesting.

10:30 the bar opens and you can sit there and stalk out a spot for brunch, or just order brunch at the bar. We showed up at around 11:45 and got great seats at the bar since they ran out of spots for brunch. By 11:15 the ENTIRE dining room was filled. We didn't need anything too special for our day of eating.

On our list to try was the custard french toast (7x7 list) and it was delicious. the boy only really liked the outside, but i think he's weird. The best part is the inside where there's the actual custard inside the french toast. SO DELICIOUS. It does get sweet after a while, so I would suggest getting the half portion if you don't like eating sweet things in the morning.

We got some protein too - no worries. We ordered the butter basted farm eggs. They came with these great greens (artichokes, kale and other greens) they were cooked very well and super flavorful. Also the chickpea fritters. There were only two of them and I was so tempted to steal my boyfriends. SO TEMPTED. they were delicious. i think that itself deserves to be on some list. The texture was just so smooth, but the flavor was all there.

They have great cocktails too  He ordered the orange cocktail - i think it had some funky aftertaste, but that was just me. I ordered the sparky wallbanger because it just sounds so much fun. wallbanger. It was a mimosa with some added stuff and you know i love a good mimosa.

heard they have a great dinner there too...I'll have to try it out.

So we've passed by this place probably more times than we should have and NOT tried it. We pass by it to go to the Park, or eat a different places on 9th, but one night, when deciding where to go for dinner instead of cooking, we decided to come here.

Coconut shrimp was delicious beginning of our meal. The shrimp seemed to have been coated in breadcrumbs and coconut shreds and the boy doesn't like coconut, but ate these shrimp up. They were really good.

I ordered the salmon sandwich, it's quite a big portion, but damn it was good. the sauce they have on it, OMG. so good. I go the sweet potato fries - great choice.  He ordered the japanese wasbi bowl with poke - which i learned is so popular in hawaii and is just soy sauce marinated tuna...or something like that. Definitely delicious.

Really wished we got dessert, but we were so full afterwards, we could barely walk. Great meal, great service, pretty good prices.
