I stopped in here at the same time I checked out Cadillac Ranch. It was a slow afternoon. The inside looked kinda chain restaurantish. I got a paper menu and said maybe next time. I will yelp this place first. So I see 26 reviews, looks like a good sample, so I hit the ratings detail bar graph maker thing near the top of the page. Looks like half the ratings are 1 and 2 star. I think I will reconsider trying this place out, as when you have that many low ratings, it is too risky to spend time and money on. I just discovered that yelp feature...its cool. It only works on businesses that have enough reviews to make a meaningful graph.

Never been to a Les Schwab before. I usually go to my independent mechanic, but he will charge for his time even just for inspections. That's fine the guy's gotta make a living. I just wanted the brakes checked, and they do free brake inspections. I was hoping they wouldn't tell me stuff was wrong, that  wasn't , just to try to sell me more. It wasn't the case, told me brakes were fine and gave me an estimate if I did need them done. The waiting room was nice, TV AND free wifi! I waited about an hour, so the wifi is great. Free popcorn too. Prices are not super cheap, but maybe if I need tires I'll come here. So what's with you guys that like to sniff the tires? I actually saw a dude doing this once. Do they get over ripe or something?, like a melon?

So I'm really hungry and I don't want or can't wait till I get to Carson to eat. Just got in at the airport, made one quick stop and now I need food. Didn't really wanna do fast food. Burger would be good, I'm in south Reno, so lets see...Cheeseburgers? no way no more no how, Joe's across the street, yuck a 1 star place....how bout Red Robin? I usually don't make a habit on the chain thing restaurant, but haven't been to this one. Last one was years ago in Cali, but I DO remember AYCE fries! I know their bad for you but I luv em! Service was right there and burger was done as ordered. I only got 2 helpings of fries. Well I wasn't gonna have just one if they were AYCE! I'll have to come back with the BF, he REALLY likes AYCE anything. The waitstaff girl was kinda cute, but not too "chain store happy"....my name is an all those staged lines.

Just got into Reno at the airport, and REI is so conviently located just off Plumb Ln. Parking is never a prob...as opposed to the Costco! next door. Yeah prices are high here but the quality is too. The camping tents here are not the same ones that you can get a Costco. But they won't rip on you at the least convient time. The real kicker is is they have TOTAL satisfaction warrenty. No time limit...bring it back if it doesn't work out. That can be handy when trying out say hiking boots, blister city, but you won't know till 10-12 miles. BF said one time he brought back XC back-counrty ski boots after a full season...hurt his feet he says...they took it back no prob! I had a bike pump once that failed alike 2 years later, came back to purchese a new one....and they said, oh give us the old one you purchased here and we'll replace it! 2  years later? I like it! The staff seem to actually be knowlegable in their respective departments. Caters to the rock climbin, mtn bike ridin, white water raftin, Subaru drivin, outdoors crowd.....Sorry, no hunt'in,  atv'in or shotgun shells here. Oh, I forgot, I came in to get a bike tire tube. Now I'm hungry....

Flyin outta here right now! Easy rental return and pick up. Free wifi...hell yeah. TSA check no prob. I'm in and out of this place at least 2 times a month. SFO sucks big time. I rather come into OAK and drive to the city. Don't eat or shit here so no opinion on those facilities. Second best to RNO. They could use some slot machines here.....

Oakland CA, what can I say. Other have plenty of bad things to say about Oakland. You tell someone you're from Oakland, they look at me, and say "You're from Oakland?", was it bad, did you get robbed a lot? Well, thats the rep. but not always true. But it was the first time in Jr. High I learned "Bad" ment good...and the "F" word was always preceeded with mother. My mom did not know these words and I wasn't gonna ask her what MF was in Dutch. OK the Raiders suck, but Oakland still has the fever! Funny how I think a lot of these Raider bad boys I see going into the Colisium are from the generic suburbs! I;ll visit Oakland to get roast duck in the window, but I'm still glad I moved to Reno!

Wow, this place is sooo old school, like its been here since I think the 60's. BF took me here the first time, showing me all the places he went growing up in Oakland. Its just has a weird (not in a bad way) feel to it. I guess if you were like 45-50 years old it migh feel normal? Old school is cool, I had a burger and BF had a patty melt. I guess I would come again if asked to. Its an Oakland instution, thats still here. I think I might have come here when I was 14, but I don't really remember.

I luv this place. Despite its location in one of the questionable neighborhoods of Oakland. I used to come here all the time like min. once or twice a week when I worked in the area. Been a few years, but they are still here! Prices gone up a bit but still a bargin. A local place with real charecter, not all chain formed like In an Out. Place is kinda dirty, but just don't look too close! I get the big burger, fries and drink combo. Wish I could find a place like this in Reno!

Staying here at the Hilton for a night. Been to Amelia's and its just another overpriced hotel restaurant. You come here if you are too scared too roam this neighborhood out side the safty of the hotel. Food is generic hotel food, just like all the rest of the hotels I stay at. I try to get out and try some of the local places, and since I know this neighborhood from working in the area, I get out a bit. Don't walk Hegenburger at night! You need a car!

Been coming here for years, esp. when I work near here. Well, I didn't come that often, since I didn't think the place was really all that great. I know Johnny behind the counter. He don't trust anybody else taking the money! I like though when someone orgers a 1/3 lb burger, he calls out to the cook 1 turd to go! hee hee...I just thought the burgers were costing more then they were worth. I like Chubby Freeze on the other side of the 880 better. Mostly the suits and ties come here, the're too scared to go to the Chub! I'll admit the Chubby Freez is a bit skanky but I like the big burger and whole mess o fries! Hegenburger's just don't do it for this girl.
