Charmingly situated for outdoor seats, and the crab cake sandwich, while boring in recipe, used top-notch crab meat and just enough cheese to flavor.

Lettuce, tomato, and bread were all fresh and good enough, but I know better than to expect farm-fresh produce on the beach.

My nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. This may be related to the smoke detector's battery being missing (quite visibly, with the cover left open).

The breakfast ran out of juice early, and the eggs were, we're quite certain, rubber-based props. The biscuits were more likely based on chalk.

In the middle of winter, the central heat seems to be turned up to "bake", with the room AC units modulating on for 30 seconds every 5 minutes to compensate.

The toilet didn't flush. At all. Our neighbors' had lesser issues.

I'm being generous with 2 stars, because it wasn't drafty or noisy.

I love dropping by this place and grabbing gifts. And filling our home with lovely smells from soaps that were "manufactured" a block away. Custom scents for lotions and such are nice, but too often they are out of stock of the base materials.

Hours are definitely a problem.
