Um, where do I start?

I went here last nite, and I still regret it.

The interior is all over the place. The service was spotty, but friendly. The food was horrible, and it took forever. We were one, of two parties, and it still took a long while. I have no clue why, but if I'm going to wait this long, I would appreciate a tasty meal. My lady, had udon, and musubi. The udon was overly salty, and the musubi left something to be desired. I ordered chicken katsu, with mac salad. The mac salad had celery, and my chicken was pink! The breading, was also falling off the chicken, as if they didn't know how to coat properly (*note - flour, egg wash, breading, dry for 10 minutes, fry. It's not that difficult). Now, have you ever seen celery, in mac salad? Everything tasted generic, and lacked luster. It was as if the chef wanted a turn-key-business, and didn't care about the quality. This was apparent through our whole meal.

At the end, we were given a free dessert. They gave us a fried tempura ice cream, and this was also gross. Seriously, it's not hard to make your own whipped cream, and they used the instant kind. I feel like everything here, came from a can of sysco!

Please, I ask the owner, or owners, to please do some research. Go around to popular Hawaiian spots, and try to emulate their dishes. They didn't even have loco moco! Is that even possible? That's one of the staple dishes, people usually base how genuine, a Hawaiian restaurant is!

I'll come back here, never. Literally!

Dinah's Fried Chicken Take Home & Dining Room

Would you let a blind person fry your chicken? If you said yes, this the place for you.

Yes, it's cheap, and the service is friendly. Also, the good comes out fairly quick. Fried chicken, can not be made quick. This means, everything here is pre-made. I'd rather have fried chicken, made to order, thanks.

The lemonade also is made from a powder. They can't use fresh squeezed lemons, and add real sugar? I'd like to know if you're using aspartame, because I don't want to consume it.

Basically, if you like the food here, it's because your momma raised you on canned goods. You're probably obese, too.

This is probably one of the best fried chicken spots, in southern California. Come here only for the fried chicken experience! Most of the sides are great too, except the greens. Those are mediocre.

LA Affordable Plumbing

This is the epitome of honest business!

I set up an appointment, and needed to have washer/dryer hook ups installed. I originally wanted the plumbing to be attached to the kitchen, but when he came, he told me the bathroom was closer, and it would save me time/money. Who does that? It came up a few hundred cheaper than I previously thought. Now that is honest business!

They were clean, finished earlier than scheduled, and he even fixed my refrigerator hook ups, for FREE!

I'd recommend this business to anyone requiring plumbing work!!!!

Not only is the owner a nice guy, and we should support local businesses, but the prices are fair. Also, it's the only place, I know of in Downtown, that serves Blue Bottle Coffee. What this means is, you don't have to go to SF (although there's nothing wrong with going to SF!).

This place is small, and there's some outside seating. I prefer the one on Spring St, but this one serves a purpose. They serve Blue Bottle!

This place is a mini vacation from a grocery store. It's a bit of this, and a bit of that. What I mean is people grill outside, during certain hours, and there's a heap of random items inside.

The owner is super friendly, and very accommodating. You can always request a certain brand, or item.

There's newly added tables outside. They had a few before, but they've added a few more.

Please be aware, a lot of people beg for change here. All you have to do is say, "no." If you do give change, you're donating to their drug & alcohol fund. If that's your way of giving back to society, so be it. Drug dealers have to eat too, I suppose.

We've dubbed this place, "crack diner", for a reason. If you're curious enough, come by here after midnight. It will be obvious.

It's close to my residence, and I'm not weary of suspect situations. Having been raised in the Nation's Capitol, this is child's play.

Service is always spot on, and they're super friendly. Even when I walk by, they always wave with a smile.

Everything here is average, except the fries. They taste like McDonald's fries used to taste, and that is a lost treat.

If you're not close by, please don't bother. You're probably one of those that mutter, "omg, downtown is so ghetto!" When in fact your suburb, probably, has more heinous crimes.

Coffee House & Donuts

Ever had donuts, that tasted like they were freshly fried, in the butt cheek of a cow? Neither have I, but it sounds atrocious. Actually, that is what the donuts here remind me of. The apple fritter is amazing here. It has a perfect crunch, and still maintains soft innards. At the price of one dollar, it's hard to resist. Sometimes my cholesterol feels low, and this is a rapid cure.

It's pretty busy in the morning, and the line can be a bit confusing. Just use your common sense. This means most of you will have no clue.

I'm not sure what time they open or close, but they cater to the flower market workers. They're probably open by 6am, and close relatively early. I wouldn't come out of my way for it, but it's a handy neighbor.

They also have hot dogs, nachos, and sandwiches. I'm not sure if I'm interested in any of those, but perhaps one day. Call me crazy, but nachos usually aren't on my mind for breakfast. Actually, it's not on my mind for any meal. Maybe a snack, or when my cholesterol feels low.

If you dislike waffles, I'm forever grateful. I'd rather see the line here diminish, and never return.

I tried the fried chicken, and burger. Both were a perfect medley, and made my palate titillate. The waffle has a perfect crunch, and the center is a bit chewy. Even after cooling down, it was just as tasty. They have a great batter here.

It seems like the frozen custard isn't really a focus here. It's a treat you can find all over the East Coast, and there's hardly any here. It boggles my mind. It's better than frozen yogurt, and ice cream. Thank you for having this. It brings tears to my eyes.

The service is amazing, and everyone here was more than willing to dote. It was almost a bit overbearing. They'll ask you, .392282 seconds before you're done, if they can clear your tray; then they'll ask some more. It's better to have, than not, I suppose.

The neighborhood is quiet, quaint, and parking is easy to find. There also seems to be other things to explore, in the immediate area. It's a nice place to walk around, and check out. My gf said, "this is what I imagined every American town would resemble."

I really hope you open one in LA. I'll be your best friend.

Why didn't you tell me you were here? I almost deducted a star for that, Wien.

It's a Korean bakery, and it's here to make you fat. By fat, I mean an average sized American.

The influx of Korean business owners has attracted many Korean goods. This is a convenience I adore, and to me, it's better than 85 bakery, in Irvine. Why? Because there isn't a 40 minute drive, and there's not a half hour wait.

It's clean, service is standard, and the goods are fresh.
