PCSing rate (with orders): $63 for a double room / per night
Weekly dog rate is: $50
There are no weekly rates or long term rates. This hotel is civilian run and owned. The best thing is they are located on post.
There are NO rooms with stove top kitchenettes. The rooms with "kitchenettes" consist of an extra sink and counter space. I think all of the rooms have a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker.
They have a gas grill in the courtyard for guest use, but animals aren't allowed in there. There is a small lounge in the lobby with a big screen TV, free coffee and tea. No continental breakfast.
The pluses are good and quick housekeeping service, a real gated dog park across the street, right past the blue track for running, but there is no water fountain for the dogs yet. I think they are still adding to it. Just a gated dirt area with doggy bags and trash bins. Friendly staff and guests. Just not so long-term friendly prices.
If you want to save a LOT of money, the NEXT NEAREST HOTEL is Oak Tree Inn in Yermo, CA; 45 minutes away; special long term weekly rates for soldiers waiting for housing and no pet fee.
I wanted to give them 3 stars, but I think they deserve 4/5 since the only thing I really don't like is the lack of long term rates.

Okay, so I've talked to a couple others who have used this kennel/daycare before. Apparently, NO ONE ever gets to see the back, no tours. Talk about flat out lying on the website.
The two days after our dog was here, she was really scared of noises and even us carrying a plate from the kitchen to the dining room. I don't know what and if they did anything, but I will not be back here. Neither will my friend who left her dog here for 3 days.
I don't normally write such negative reviews, but I have to be honest and my husband supports this review too.

Doggy daycare prices are great.
From the website and reviews we've read, we were expecting a LOT more space for the outside daycare play area. It's very small, like 10 x 10. Smaller than our standard size military backyard. I was looking forward to seeing a nice big space with green grass, dog toys, and playpens. All they had was a small plastic dried out pool with some dirt in it and one puppy alone. There's no grass, only rocks. I do understand part of that, but it's just not inviting.
Their website states "Boarding Tours - Please feel free to visit our facility - Monday through Friday between the hours of 1pm and 3pm - Major Holidays excluded!"
So we went before 3pm for a tour.
I went in first and asked for a tour of the facilities. The person working was in a really bad mood when we came in. She kind of snapped and told me there is no tours allowed when they have so many dogs in the facility. She then said she's in a bad mood today and really busy getting some palette ready. She let me see through a window in the back, of the kennels, but that was it. After another couple came into pick up their dog, she was a lot more proper and nicer to us. We ended up leaving our puppy there for a few hours of playtime with one other dog and it cost us $5.
We might use them again since they are close to home, but we are still going to look around at other places in the area, maybe even Hop-town.

I've added pictures of Lucia's work. She did my hair for our wedding. She also cut my husband's hair the week before the wedding. My curls lasted all day, plus the next day I had a beautiful scattering of long loose curls. We LOVED it. I wish I could afford to fly to California and keep waxing with Lucia. Her prices beat everyone.
Lucia also gave me a facial before the wedding, it was very nice and I think my skin was glowing the day of the wedding. Ask her about it.
She gives great haircuts too. I got a haircut from her about a month and half before the wedding.
Can you believe that in Nashville, Tennessee it costs $75 for brazilian waxing? Go to Lucia. You will not regret it.
All of Lucia's prices are very reasonable and a steal for the quality of work you get.
Wedding Hair!
I'll post pictures later. I miss ya Lucia. Tennessee has nothing even close to you.
Lucia's coming back for good! If you hurry, you can catch her before she leaves (then comes back for good).
I made my appointment with text messaging. Yes, I texted their line thinking Sraddha still worked there. Got a response that she was working tonight. Asked for a wax appointment after 6pm. Got a response and I confirmed a 6:30pm appointment. I would actually recommend calling because it IS more personal, but I was in the middle of a crazy work day and couldn't leave for even a minute to call. So I didn't know Lucia was back until I arrived at the door and she opened it with a big warm welcome and smile.
I had absolutely no pain immediately after the wax. No numbing. She is more thorough and takes her time with the wax and every area you want. I have to say I am really glad Lucia is coming back for good. She is fantastic and really knows what she is doing. I heard awesome things about her, but was only able to see Sraddha in the past.
Sraddha quit. I am much happier going to Lucia though. I wasn't coming back here for a while because I wasn't so into Sraddha and her waxing technique.
GO SEE LUCIA!
You really can't beat her waxing technique, with the HARD WAX, at $45 and no charge for your first time or over 4-5 weeks growth.
Have you ever had a Brazilian wax with the hard wax the dries into a taffy like substance? It doesn't hurt at all! Maybe just a tiny bit. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being extremely painful, the hard wax is about a 4 and the hot wax with cloth strips is about a 8.5 on the pain factor. Yes, it makes that much of a difference.
Waxing is addicting. The pain is good pain, comparable to tattoo pain. Except waxing is removing, tattooing is permanent.
I've got to go back here...it's so good.
Oh, by the way, if you haven't heard of Lucia's, her business has been around for over 10 years. There is no luxurious setting here. You drive to a little residential area with houses and apartments, her place is tiny and just big enough for one person to be worked on at a time. She takes her time and doesn't rush you through anything.
Personally I have only seen Sraddha Ferry, Lucia's employee.
My friends have seen Lucia.
They are both wonderful.
Not sure if you have the guts to go Brazilian? Just try it once, here.

We stopped here for a pre-shopping lunch.
The bulgogi was okay, the meat was a little tough for Korean style beef. Flavor was pretty good though. The fried tofu appetizer was really plain, the soy sauce dipping mix was the best part.
I wouldn't order what I had this first experience. I had the dol sot bi bim bap. It was super crunchy to the point of being a little burnt and the veggies had no flavor or seasoning in them. So to make it taste somewhat good, I drenched it with the red chili sauce. Normally I don't need a ton of that sauce.
I would totally go back for tofu soup. I had a couple spoons of my friends and I've been craving it ever since.
We had my daughter with us too. I ordered a hard boiled egg for her. They brought her a fried egg and a whole bowl of rice. Then the bill came and they didn't even charge me for her stuff.
The service is okay, it's a quiet and empty place, but it's nice because they didn't seem to mind my 1.5 year old daughter who made a bit of a mess and tried to have a little fit for a couple minutes.
They also sell a few things in their little "market", just a few things though.
Ever since my girlfriends and I had lunch there, I've been telling my husband I want to go back for tofu soup. Too bad they are over 75 miles away from the Army base (Fort Irwin) we live in.
I hope it's really good the second time since I won't get the stone pot rice and veggie dish again (dol sot bi bim bap).
