My experience doesn't match up with what some of the other reviewers described. The Tofu Pad Thai was really good and the staff was very attentive. They were very swift but didn't make me feel rushed. I'm ready to go back already!

Although they apologetically had to tell us they were out stock on four (4) of the items we requested we had a very good experience. My Malai Kofta was very good. It's one of those dishes I want to order at every Indian restaurant that serves it - but usually kinda sucks. This Malai Kofta was flavorful. I played it safe this time with medium spiciness but will definitely try hot next time. I've never had naan with cream cheese in it (?) but it was pretty tasty.

The waitstaff and management were very attentive and pleasant.

On a side note there were these white senior citizen patrons seated nearby who were so grumpy, dumpy, and gross. Among other things, they asked for the music volume to be lowered and the giant woman FILED HER NAILS AT THE TABLE. I could go on...

Great all vegan menu. Attentive staff and bright environment.  Very tasty.

Authentic & formal dining but not strict dress code.  Aloo gobi was great & very hot. Great waitstaff.

As always, I really appreciate the vegetarian options.  There is a good selection of burgers to choose from as well as condiments.  The fries are nice.  I'm not 100% onboard with the barnyard ambiance but I have to admit the personal paper towel rolls are convenient.

One thing I find interesting about the Twisted Root Burger Company is that, unlike most other businesses in Deep Ellum, customers come from far and wide (especially the heavily religious 'burbs).  At times it's as though the typical patron looks at the locals like they're unwelcome.  It'd be like us visiting the Middle East and gawking uncontrollably at the natives in dishdashas.  Nevermind - that does sound like something a Texan would do.

Vegetarian options at a place as good as Casino El Camino make it all the better.  Terrific atmosphere and a very pleasant back patio.

My girlfriend and I visit and/or get deliveries from Sol's at least once or twice a month.  It is really good and the staff is always friendly - AND they deliver.
