Whenever I'm in the area and need something, it's a great place to stop. Though the parking can be tricky since UVillage has some of the worst drivers. The staff has always made this place great. We get our pumpkin prowl tickets here too.
But the same can't be said on the phone. Trying to find out flu information on the phone this year and calling them twice proved to be futile. There were curt and rude. While I understand this flu season has been hectic, there's no excuse for that behavior. Next time just do make a recording since the pharmacy doesn't like talking to people.
We went with a large group including children and we all had a great time here. First off, the margaritas were super tasty. Definitely splurge and get the large ones. You won't need a refill!
The menu was fairly typical and included my favorite, mole. It was a nice mole, but nothing special. A little too sweet for my taste but after finishing most of my margarita, it didn't matter to me, hehe. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes but weren't thrilled with the flavor.
The kids were incredibly happy. A great variety of items for them that they would eat and milkshakes too.
As others said, the pico was the most flavorful thing here. We scarfed down a ton of it and asked for more!

I also came here for my seasonal flu shot and was pretty happy with the whole procedure. While I still think it's very strange to get a flu shot in a grocery store, the pharmacy staff was incredibly nice and speedy.
Plus I could get batteries and eggo waffles in the same trip. Win!

What a busy, understocked grocery store.
I only came here randomly while waiting for yummy food from Chiang's. Which is probably the only reason people should go here. I only needed a handful of items. But rest assure, they were out of some items or brands. It's very disappointing when you can't buy the brand of toilet paper you like.
What made the experience even better was the people navigating their carts. Obviously, no one in this area knows how to use a grocery cart properly. Blocked lanes, apologizes for hitting other shoppers, and general disarray, especially at the entrance.
Getting out took a while too, even in the express lane. I was somewhat pissed they didn't have self-checkout with a wait like that.

We recently got a mini-schnoodle and really had no idea how to pick a vet. After the great reviews here, we decided to give this place a try. We were so glad we did.
When our little boy came home he had some parasites that Dr. Karen Konz-Hofmann took care of right away. She has an excellent bedside manner with dogs and cats. And didn't mind that my 2 year old loved to come along for visits. My little schnoodle is always happy to go to the vet and never minds his shots. We recently had him neutered and it was such a simple procedure. They took such good care of him!
The staff, the staff animals like Buzz, and Karen are just wonderful people and I trust them with the care of my puppy.
Luckily I haven't had to use them for any emergencies but I feel confident they would help if there were any.
I plan to start bringing my kitties here too!

When my issues were small, he was a great dermatologist.
But after a nasty infection, that lasted months, I began to question his methods. Over that time, he prescribed some creams, powders and pills. Even one that cost $100 out-of-pocket. Nothing worked! A friend told me what to do and offered me a sample of her cream, the infection cleared up right away. I was so relieved.
So I told him what worked, but he was unwilling to fill the Rx because he felt it was too strong. I spoke to another doctor, that laughed at this reaction. Especially considering several other medical personnel thought my infection was "the worst they had ever seen."
Yeah, I was not happy.
And now that my other skin issues have worsened, I returned to ask him what to do since the cream he had given me in the past was not working. I mentioned some other therapies I had read online and that I was open to any suggestions. He didn't really seem interested in trying anything new and had no other options for me. He handed me an Rx for more of the cream that didn't work. This really puzzled me knowing that his background was in care of people with psoriasis and eczema conditions.
As someone who is also in the medical profession, I understand the need to be cautious. But I fear Dr. Antazana is this to a fault. It's been a few months now and I'm still in pain. And although I've been his patient for years, I'm going to seek out a new dermatologist.
I guess picking a name randomly in the phone book isn't the best way to pick a doctor.

A talented dermatologist.
You can guess why I chose Dr. Antazana for my doctor. No, it wasn't his dashing good looks. He was the first alphabetical listing for dermatology. Yeah, lazy I know. But I lucked out and got one of the best.
Dr. Antazana has a great bedside manner and knows his way around the weird things that pop up on your body. He's always helped me out when my own tactics aren't working. And his staff are just as nice.

So this is my first venture into the world of doggie haircuts. I really didn't know much about them. My vet gave me a recommendation but after reading reviews on the place where she worked, I opted for somewhere else.
Yelpers review led me here. It was fairly close and offered lots of other services. First off, they were super cool when I had to reschedule due to illness. Something I really appreciate. They were able to get me in again quickly too. And knowing that my dog's name was a FFVII character just made me giddy!
He was still sporting his puppy fluff and could barely see anymore. When I came to pick him up, he was a new dog! He was cut so beautifully! He's a schnoodle which can be a little tricky to cut, but they did a great job. And he was in a wonderful mood because he got to play with all the nice dogs there too.
I'm set on going here to get his hair done since they did a great job, it didn't cost too much and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's nice they are also a pet store, doggie day care, and obedience school too.
Highly recommended!

Blue C Sushi
Category: Sushi Bars
Neighborhood: Downtown
This new location is now open downtown. They have a great happy hour from 4-7pm and also some discount if you bring your movie ticket. We didn't care, we came to eat sushi.
The waiter was fast and nice to us even though we forgot to use the button to page him. We did the old-school flag down. The sushi was fairly good. I liked the seared tuna with a delicious rub. And the kinshi roll is always a good eat. We did try the crazy looking nugget things and were happy to find they were asian tater tots. Very yummy.
The drinks were good but they ran out of ingredients. They couldn't make a lot of their signature cocktails. But they made up for it by having a heavy hand and reworking drinks.
Also, the projector is awesome! Scenes from Tokyo and Japanese living flash by. Very cool.
Super cute place. Great location.
Oh and sorry you missed out Pedro. I got to review it first! :P hehe

Top Pot Doughnuts
Category: Donuts
Neighborhood: Wedgwood/View Ridge
Yeah, my two year old loves this place. Along with her Grandparents, Dad, Mom, friends, and anyone else we've brought here. This location is just perfect. It's on the main ave in Wedgwood and with it's eye-catching display you can't miss it.
The parking lot is a little small and only goes one way. This seems to be incredibly hard for many of the people of Wedgwood to understand. But it's worth the danger for the donuts.
The shop is very nice and open. A counter to sit at and look out, a great place to read and work and seating outside too. The donuts are wonderful. Their seasonal ones are perfection. My favorite of the pumpkin old fashioned and the cherry blossom.
The coffee here is some of my favorite in Seattle. They make it quick and delicious. I've never had a problem with waiting or a messed up order, no matter how crazy I get with my orders.
The best thing about this location is the staff. They have some of the nicest people in Seattle working here. And it's not just one of them, it's all of them. They always say "Hello, how are you?" and mean it! I've had some of the staff remember me, which is always sweet. Always a smile and making sure you are happy. And to top it off, they really seem to like their jobs.
My parents loved their donuts so much, they requested to be sent them routinely to PA! Yeah, they are that good.
Thanks for all the yummy donuts!

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

It does however settle a craving for chocolate. The problem is, I don't care for their mix of chocolate. So I tend to enjoy their fudges instead. And their apples are quite eye-catching but not my thing as well.
So why the three stars instead of something lower? The staff is incredibly nice and don't frown despite having to stand on the street trying to entice people indoors. And it's perfect children's chocolate. Kid's eat this stuff up and ask for more. And that can make my day.

I got to see the pre-season NHL game here this year and it was wonderful. The crowd was intense hockey lovers, the ice was beautiful and it was just an all around great time.
They run the facility really well. Getting in and finding seats was easy. Sure the food was overpriced but it's expected. And after a few beers, it doesn't matter. And again, Sam is right, all the seats are really good. From the lower level, all the way up, it's all good.
And honestly, the ice is absolutely lovely. I've had the pleasure to actually play hockey on it once and couldn't believe it. I will always remember it as one of the nicest rinks I've ever skated at.
