This location just opened last wednesday so I was really excited because I used to live next to a dollar store when I lived with my parents. I like these stores because we throw a lot of parties at my house and the cooking tins,utensils and a lot of the stuff a party needs you can find here and all for a $1. So this was a for sure plus when I saw they were putting it in. This location is really organized so far haha and its located in McCarthy ranch next to wal-mart, pet smart , davids bridal and every other store in this place.

I decided to check out Rivermark nails the week before I went to Vegas. I did go there when I was given a gift certificate once. I went back and I LOVE it.. granted its a little pricey I do like how close it is to my house and the quality work that they do. Their waxing is great too. The ultimate plus for me though is the fact that you do not ever doubt that they are a clean place. They definitely get the cleanliness award in my book.

I love you petsmart. Its where the pets go. Oh and Yoko loves you too.

I have been shopping in WHATEVER dog stores I can find. This location was in a local mall. I really like this store, I have had great customer service everytime Ive gone in here. Although its rather pricey I never leave this store empty handed. I can resist treating my  little yoko to new fancy puppy treats, sweaters, leashes and even a cute lion halloween costume. So long as my puppy wears clothes I will be shopping at happy go lucky dog boutique

Huge venue, dj was mehh.. drinks are RIDICULOUSLY priced then again its vegas.. we got in for free on a sunday during halloween weekend so that was cool

After I wrote this review I recieved a phone call from a staff member notifying me that the nasty vet I had was not one of their own and they were sorry for my bad experince. I decided to give them another shot because they had great concerns about their customers and they proved me right. I walked in randomly and I dont know if they know I was the bad yelp reviewer but whatever the case they were 100% better and I thank you for that.

Last week I learned how powerful yelp is 2 times over. Thank you yelp!

After 2 years of being a loyal Volkswagen owner (whom was covered under certified warranty) I will NEVER go back to this dealership. I am thoroughly upset with this place and I cannot believe people in the world pull this kind of shady stuff . I took my car in because I had a letter from VW about a recall on my car. However 3 weeks before my check engine light turned on. My car still ran.. I just didn't feel comfortable driving a car that had a check engine light. So finally yesterday I decided to take it in after receiving the letter it gave me more reasons to go in. I was told by Paul upon going that if any of my recalls were what triggered my check engine light to turn on then I was not going to pay the diagnostic fee. (cool).. So before I continue I will state what was going on with my car. When in idle it was shaking.. like a small vibration. OH and i had just taken my car in April to get the coils fixed because they went bad in the 3rd cylinder and a few months prior to that my fuel pump went out.. (mind you all of this was covered under warranty before i hit the 80000 mark) so while something was wrong this time I was at about 81000 into my driving. Back to the story.. my car had a slight vibration however it was still drivable i chose not to drive it in fear that it may get worse. SO i take my car over check engine light still on vibration still going on... but drivable. I get a call back from Paul.. stating and I wrote EVERYTHING he told me down because I didn't get the print out of what was really wrong I got the diagnose over the phone. He stated 1. O2 sensors were bad 2. timing belt 3. new tires 4. transmission cleaning and 2 of the error codes for the check engine light were due to 2 recalls (therefore waving my fee) so they would fix those however all of the work O2 sensors was $492 , timing belt $892, and the others cost went into well over 1200. Me being concerned I may be getting ripped off told Paul i would call him back that I was going to talk to my bf and see what he wanted to do and that id call him back. I then decided to get quotes per my bfs request because I just may be getting ripped off. So i called and the main issue he told me was the O2 sensor so i called for that. I just wanted my car running for right now. The other diagnoses were just precautions which i was planning on getting fixed. So i called a body shop.. they informed me for parts AND labor it was a $210. This was a valued place by my bf too. so I thought hell I might as well go to them they had the original part too. So i call Paul back and inform him of the price and ask him to just do the recalls. I inside felt very guilty like I was a trader I have been loyal to vw and here I was stabbing them in the back but hey it was for my best interest . Maybe it was my female intuition telling me they were going to royally F me later. Paul seemed upset none the less but agreed to do the recalls.  

I get a call a few hours later saying my car is done. I go there and informs me since they had to get into the car I was gonna have to pay 65 rather than free like he told me.. FINE..whatever i didn't mind I figured it was the least I can do. So I pay it.. I wait for my car and when I get in my car... wow. My check engine light is blinking its WAY 100 times worse than when i brought it and there is a strange hissing sound. MIND you this was NOT the case before at all. Luckily my bf was with me and informed him this car was not going to make it home he then instructs me to pop the hood. He knows a bit about cars so he immediately knew that there was a busted vacuum hose. I believe that what its called. When he opens the hood.. there is a "Tooled" hose with pieces of broken pits sitting right on top of my window washer fluid tank. Just sitting there. Hm mm.. how can this be? I go back in .. and ask for Paul to come out. He does so then tells my boyfriend.. "well the vacuum hose is broken and that could possible fix the o2 sensor it was getting a high reading so it could be a broke vacuum and if you get that fix it could correct the problem. " NOW this is AT MOST a 60 fix. and they told me ALL of that other stuff? I bought the piece pat duct taped the old hose because it was a clean cut and I drove home. This morning he replaced the "mysterious broken vacuum hose" and my car is running like brand new. Now were they upset that I was gonna take my business elsewhere? I think this is complete bull shit and I feel so cheated and lied to. It makes me sick to think people in the world pull this shit. I will never go back to this place. It was my fault in the first place I don't know much about cars in the first place but for Christ sake.. Complete bull shit. Sneaky liars. I'm rather upset. I really liked Paul too that's what bummed me out. :( Maybe he was only nice cause it was under warranty before.

As always I hit up my outdoor festivals. I have been attending the oktoberfest for a while now and this year was no different than any other year. Actually correction the beer situation was shitty. REALLY shitty. We just snuck our beers from sonoma chicken coop out but id have to say they need a new system on the beer distribution at the oktoberfest. There were lines upon lines and the cups for beer were ridiculously small.

A few months back patrick went to a family dinner at this restaurant. He mentioned it to me.. and it kind of went through one ear and out the other. He then went back to this restaurant again and he came back ranting and raving about it. SO this was then I realized I should probably go and test it out. The drive was about 45 minutes away. I cant say that Im a huge prime rib fan but I will eat any meat haha. I went with the broadway prime cut. This was $34 and let me tell you .. it was HUGE! Now i hadnt eaten anything all day and I am not one to finish my whole plate of food. Let alone A WHOLE prime rib. I was delicious I inhaled that meat pretty quickly. Along with the meal you get 2 sides I chose the mashed potatoes and creamed corn. They also had this really good strange textured bread that I fell in love with. A HUGE amount of food. Another thing I really liked about this place was the atmosphere. Everyone was lively and it was a good place for large groups. I really enjoyed this restuarant and will/would definately go back!

This month was Patricks 25th birthday. After his huge birthday party (might I add that it was a huge success) I had asked him if I could take him out to dinner. I chose to go to Arcadia because he was in the mood for some steak. I hadnt been here before, but I had heard good things about this place. One thing I really liked about this place was the light settings, that may seem strange but it really was relaxing. We strictly went to Aracadia to try their steaks since its supposed to be a steak house. I opted for the Kobe Skirt Steak and Patrick had the Filet Mignon. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail along with oysters, mash potatoes or whipped potatos, asparagas. I thought the food was good I wasnt in awe like I was with Grill on the Alley however I thought it was still good steak. I would recommend this place for a date and its conviently located in the san jose marriott. I sort of wish I ordered the lobster corn dogs but I didnt. Maybe another time haha.
