Lowe's gave me my money back w/o argument. The 200% guarantee means I could get another package of crab and my money back. I wasn't going to risk it.

Great selection. Lot's of fresh food. I go there for the good selection of meat, beer and asian and hispanic food. But not the place I go if I want to buy a lot of groceries. The prices are probably highest in Clayton.
The last fix-it project, a broken outside faucet, I got great advice on how to fix it and exactly what parts to buy.
You have to go out of your way walking in here to not get helped.
Any higher price I pay here over Lowe's is more than made up for in unwasted gas and time wandering around trying to find someone.
I've had probably 10 good gyros from there. I decided to try the subs. An hour after eating the second sub, hours before an important job interview, I started having pains in my stomach. To me, it was food poisoning. After a lot of burping it died down, luckily.
After this, I probably won't eat there again. I also noticed that the last two times I've been in there the gyro meat is sitting unrefrigerated on the gyro cooker waiting to be warmed up.
The gravy biscuit I had seemed very floury tasting like they hadn't cooked it enough.
I can't stand the TV's blaring headline news. Think I'll stick w/ Bojangles.

Good food but have had bad service (non-English speaking) and I'd much rather patronize a local establishment like Jones.
Had me a big cup of horchata.

Very good tacos. I prefer carne asada, carnita or barbacoa de res. Stay away from the chivo, though. The chivo I had had the silver skin left on it and 'bout made me gag.
It can get very hot in there sometimes and you can get a lot of stares if you're white, though. But the tacos are cheap and fresh. $1.50

Service was good.
One of the cooks will come out and sing Italian love songs.
Only open Thurs.-Sat., so half the time it's closed when I think of it.
We keep saying we're gong to have the brothers have a throw down with Bobby Flay.
Tried this for the first time last night. Great pizza. Cooked perfectly. Done in 10 minutes so it was piping hot. Service was great. I just wish I had gone sooner.

Have been there twice and both times the food sucked. The selection of beer is good, though. If I was going there to eat I would be in the mood for a burger.
I had crab cakes the last time and they were all filler/breading. The manager told me that it seemed to be all filler because "the crab meat was ground very fine so it may seem like its a lot of filler."
I like patronizing locally owned businesses and personally hate giving my money to Ruby Tuesday's and Applebee's but would probably have to go across the road next time.

I was having an oyster roast on Saturday. A week before I walked in and asked when I needed to order my oysters. I told him I wanted NC oysters. He said "come on Thursday, if you need them by Saturday." I thought that was a little late but we thoroughly discussed that I needed them by Saturday. Thursday comes and I walk in to order the oysters. Same guy, I'm pretty sure he's one of the owners, says " you need these by Saturday, it's too late, you needed to order them by Tuesday." I replied: "I stood here last weekend and you told me I could order them on Thursday for Saturday." He kept saying "No, if you needed the oysters by Saturday, you have to order them by Tuesday." He offered no apology or "maybe I misunderstood you." At this point I was really pissed because I had a dozen people coming to my house to eat. Finally, he says he has some Louisiana oysters in the fridge and says I can buy those. He explains they're more salty. So I picked those up Saturday and the rest of the roast went on w/o a hitch. The oysters tasted just fine but to this day I want to know what the hell was going through the owner's head.
I would have ordered the oysters from the other seafood market in town, but apparently he doesn't need the business either because he won't return phone calls even though he's never in the store.
Next time I need oysters I will go to some place in Raleigh.
