the food was good and it's a quite 'happening' kbar that most closely resembles the liveliness of a bar in ktown out of the other bars in the area... felt kinda old in the crowd but the tables are sectioned off to provide privacy so i didnt have to deal with anyone else other than my own friends. that was cool.
oh, and i think they have a watermelon thing in the summertime.

feels cleaner than banana bay. same menu, a bit buck or two more expensive? not sure, havent been to banana bay for a while.
anyways. watched a lakers game here. they have two big projection screens, which i liked. looked like it got a bit busy around gametime. sound wasnt the highest quality tho.

didnt think the mushroom chicken was that great. got the taro ribs too and tha twasnt great either.
i like how they have soooo many diff flavors of mochi ice cream. but that is IT.
is it just me, or is everything so expensive there? during my second time there, i didn't want to sped $1.25 per mochi, so i looked at the shaved ice option, and that was still going to cost me almost 10 bucks.... totally not worth the money :(

im not a big fan of chinese food but this place was alright!
i like it when wonnie k takes over and just orders everything family style for us, but im not usually included in the sharing-of-food option because i dont eat meat. it's a pain when i go to chiense or italian restaurants with friends because i end up eating a huge thing by myself!
but everyone was down for the pescetarian option for tonight, of which i was so grateful. i got to try more than one dish! lol.
the thick, sesame bread with green onions were SO GOOD. and the knife cut chow mein. oh, and there were whole chunks of garlic in the kung pao shrimp! so awesome. i forget the other things we ordered, but they were awesome as well. get the bread for sure.
ambiance wise, it's just another chinese restaurant. not romantic at all, but i saw a couple on the other side of the room and they seemed to enjoy the food a lot.

hmmm, I don't know. I've bought True Religions from Kaitlyn and other places before, and never had a problem with it. i know for a fact that they're NOT fake and that Kaitlyn IS an authorized dealer. They also carry other brands like Hudson, J Brand, Frankie B, etc., and are all authentic, that's for sure.
Not only do I love Kaitlyn for their jean selection, but their cute dresses and tops that always keep me in with the latest styles! I can always depend on the store to find the perfect top for a last minute outing with girlfriends or a cute summer dress for an afternoon date...all without breaking the bank!
Another tip: buying a gift for a girlfriend, mom, or sister here never fails. Pick up a handbag, a piece of fashion jewelry, or even a gift card for them and they'll love it. Women of all ages seem to find something they like in this store.

What a great place to shop! I depend on Kaitlyn to keep me in-style with the cutest tops, fashionable dresses, and the latest accessories. I'm always getting compliments whenever I wear something bought at this store!
The location is great. It's set in a place where I can easily peep in before a dinner appointment, movie showing, or just strolling through the beautifully lit street of Birch in Brea. Bring your boyfriend, he can rest on the couch and peruse the stack of car mags while you shop comfortably. Or maybe just your girlfriends; you can impress them by introducing them to this hidden gem of a store!
I can always find a friendly face waiting to serve with exceptional customer service, trendy styles, and affordable prices. What more could I ask for from a boutique?

yummy! PHO that doesnt leave you feeling like you just overdosed on msg. It's free of animal products too! The broth is made with 10 different spices and herbs (so says the menu) and is simply delicious. This is how pho should taste like.. the 'chicken' was good too. It wasn't weird in texture or taste, and complemented the tofu and soup perfectly. I am so lucky to live near this restaurant!

i came here for my birthday dinner to relive the past... i was expecting a nice ambiance, white linen tablecloths, good wine list and delicious food all with an attractive pricetag.
instead i got silverware that i had to wipe down myself, an overpriced menu and small portions. $15 for a medium portioned calamari appetizer? i wouldnt really complain if the food was good but everything was just really.... mediocre, if not kinda bad. i was kinda disappointed with the restaurant experience, but had great company with me so all was good. i dont think im coming back again though.

man, going to school and working for free is really turning me into a cheapass.
anyway the real reason i wanted to review this place is because the girl working there decided to give us a recommendation on a cake (when we didnt even ask for it). she was so confident that we'd like it that we abandoned our choices and went with her rec....it wasnt good at all. was kinda mad at her.
three stars because it's a good dessert place MOST of the time.
