Id first like to say that Red Robin is not what I would classify as "fast food". I also would not attempt to compare a festive burger joint such as Red Robin with a Thai food restaurant. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy Thai, but typically you are looking for one type of food or another. I do not think Id ever find myself thinking out loud "burgers or thai.... thai or burgers".
In any event, my family loves Red Robin and the "Royal Red Robin" , which is the proper name for that heavenly heart attack burger topped with a fried egg. When we go to Red Robin or call in a pick-up order it almost always includes the Royal and a shake.
Im not sure how someone could say they like this place and then give it 3/5 stars (thats 60% which is a failing grade in any class Ive ever taken)
The atmosphere is upbeat and noise level is on higher side... but if you have young children like we do it just loud enough that your kid's random outbursts blend right into the dull roar.
If the atmosphere isnt your thing... call in an order. We enjoyed their food a dozen times before we ever actually ate at the restaurant.
TRY THE ROYAL RED ROBIN.... ITS AWESOME.

Collision Experts
Categories: Auto Repair, Body Shops
What happened to the quality of the work done by Collision Experts in Clifton Park? I used to think they did a good job and would often recommend them... but recently they have gone completely down hill.
I had my truck repaired by them and my family had another truck and brand new car repaired by them. In two of the three cases their ability to restore the vehicle to the way it was before the damage occurred was extremely lacking.
With the first vehicle they left out a fastener along the rear wheel well... and applied the incorrect 4x4 decal to the side of the bed. This was my first hint that their service was slipping.
Following this experience they worked on a truck involved in a rear end collision. When they indicated they had completed their work the bed of the vehicle was clearly misaligned and the doors did not open and close properly.
In the most recent experience they worked on a small brand new vehicle that was rear-ended. When they returned the vehicle the rear doors stuck out beyond the profile of the vehicle and did not open and close properly.
Attempts to have them correct the vehicle did not result in a resolution to the satisfaction of the owner. An insurance agent became involved for the purpose of ensuring the vehicle was corrected properly.
Collision Experts has not refused to fix the vehicle, however they have repeatedly presented poor work as a finished product. They seem to be missing the concept of quality. They are going through the motions and presenting sub-par work.
Although I have used them multiple times in the future, I will no longer use them going forward. I will look for a new company handle this type of work.

Lindsey's Country Store
Category: Fruits & Veggies
Upon entering Lindsey's Country Store, you cant help but be placed in a good mood. The sweet aroma of fresh baked goods fill the air and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We occasionally stop in on the weekend for a cider donut fix...which almost always leads to one of their muffins as well. I recommend trying both.
As the name suggests Lindsey's carries a variety of country themed items items such as scented candles, "crafty" holiday decorations and more.
When I go, I'm usually focused on the baked goods, but my wife often browses the items they have for sale.
Its a nice experience and worth visiting if you have never had the pleasure.
And although Ive never purchased one, they also make a variety of pies for the holidays...and I'm sure they're as good as their other based goods.
Highly Recommended.

I love this place. My family frequents the Rusty Nail which is a well run Bar/Restaurant with something to offer everyone.
If you are looking to sit at the bar, have a few drinks, and check out a game, the many flat screens are available to make your experience a good one.
If you wanna bring the fam for dinner, they have a separate room off of the main bar area where you can enjoy dinner, some drinks, and maybe a little QuickDraw.
The bartenders are responsible and take care to not allow someone to drink themselves into a coma.
They have all of the NFL games on Sunday's and enough flat screens to enjoy the games and QuickDraw.
This is the best bar in the Clifton Park area in my opinion for those who want to have a good time and not worry dealing with the delinquents (that you might find at a place like Tailgators).

My first and last visit to this bar was on a Wednesday night. I arrived shortly before 7pm and sat at the bar waiting for a friend I was meeting up with. There were a couple of middle-aged men at the far end of the bar who seem to hold one of the bartenders attention for most of the time I was there. On the other end of the bar were a group 20 somethings that were an embarrassment to mankind. They were loud and obnoxious and continuously used profanity and racial slurs against African-Americans. They apparently knew one of the bartenders as one of the guys continuously hit on her and eventually went outside to have a smoke with her. They rejoiced in their ignorance on doing wheelies on motorcycles and continued on their racial tirade commenting about the hip hop/rap that was playing on the jukebox/sound system.
The bar/bartender did nothing to quiet these guys or prevent them from drinking more. In fact the bartender made fun of one of them who had only had the equivalent of 3 pints and encouraged him to drink more.
The bartenders were cute but the fact that they seem to socialize with these individuals and did nothing to consider the other people in the bar left me with a poor impression of them.
I was left with a very poor impression. Perhaps it has a different environment on Sundays during football games but to allow this activity to go on in their establishment is inexcusable.

My daughter was so upset that she couldnt see mommy get her haircut that she burst into tears... which also upset my wife. They claim to be "Your Friendly Day Spa:. They were anything but.
The safety concern excuse is absolutely ridiculous and the idea that the barely-old-enough-to-drive receptionist would open her mouth in such an ignorant manner demonstrates this establishment's poor judgment.
They have lost my family's business and I encourage others to steer clear.
