These guys have been providing me with insurance for my business for quite some time now (years), and I must say that they have been incredible to work with. Seriously, from the moment I called, they happily answered all my questions, got me a competitive quote and had me all setup and going a few hours later.

I was in a situation where a client asked me for a certificate of Insurance, and of course I had no idea what they were talking about. I was new to this whole running your own business thing and these guys were very helpful when it came to anything insurance related.  A friend referred me to these guys and I couldn't be happier.

They always respond to my emails within minutes and I never feel like I'm bothering them.

If you need any kind of insurance, give them a ring. I have talked to both Michael and Scott and they're amazing.

Ps. They don't annoy you with awkward junk mail every few weeks. Love that.

Holy crap this place gets busy. Don't come here expecting to get seated right away, you'll be disappointed. There are quite a few bars nearby however so there is definitely a lot to do while you wait.

Started off with Sangria, it was tasty, fresh and gone in about 5 minutes. And then we got the corn on the cob slathered in stuff that probably isn't all that healthy for you, but none of that mattered because it was so tasty. It's like eating a buttery dream where everything in the world is perfect.

My friend Val, who has been here countless times ordered me the steak and eggs. It wasn't called that, but it's essentially what it was. Cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of rice and beans, ya'll this shiz was off the chain and gone in less than 10 minutes.

Oh we also go plantains for the table. I had one, looked down and then they were all gone.

I found love in a Cuban place  --- COMING BACK FOR SURE.

Yeah, the coffee is great. The staff is fine. It's a simple place with a wonderful small drink menu (too many choices can stress me out).

The seating sucks though. I wanted to come here and get some work done, but since the place is small, they have no tables, just a super long shelf with stools. Wifi worked well.

A great place to grab a cup and go, but not exactly the best place to come and sit for awhile.

Need to stop and work while you're driving between SF and LA? This is where to do it. Fast WiFi, standard Starbuck's Coffee. All you need, nothing more. Can get busy, but whatever.

That's it!

Tucked away in a private studio in LA's Arts District is DIY Shirts. Literally, I had no idea where to go once I got in the building (second floor and to the right for anyone that's wondering)

Anyway, I called, got Chris and told him about my pretty last minute request and they delivered. I needed one thing done for a Valentine's Day present and he was more than happy to do it. While I'm sure that they'd rather prefer orders with large runs I feel like I got the same attention with my one little item. And I appreciated that.

When my business is in need of shirts and random other things that will need to be screen printed, they will be the first ones to call. And you should too, they're great guys who are fair (about pricing) and they also got great stylleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Thanks DIY!!

Shelly and her team are a great group of people who work hard to make sure your events look their best.

Seriously, every event that I have seen her at has been truly unique. And she has this super charming and amicable persona that you just want to know. It's a joy to have photos taken by her. This plus her great style make for a amazing experience and something every event should have. And holy crap, her props are insane. I.N.S.A.N.E. Never have I ever seen so many!!

Now, to be completely fair in this review, I should disclose that I do run my own photobooth company, but I feel that Photography for Good is another company that is well on it's way to doing great things and is well worth a look!

I haven't read any of the reviews. I'm reviewing this based on my 2 experiences that I had here over the past month or so.

With that said. I have had nothing but a great time here. The space is absolutely gorgeous, it feels foreign (which I love). The servers that I had both times were wonderful and the food... delicious. It's really not that more expensive than any other meal anywhere else.

The first time I came was for brunch. I ordered the Croque Madame. It was delicious, prepared well, using ingredients that were obviously fresh. Presentation was also thoughtful and creative by using wooden boards as plates. My friend ordered some spicy chicken sliders and they were also pretty incredible. Our total for this, including coffee was somewhere around $40 --- Not bad.

Because of cocktails, I don't exactly remember what I ordered when I came here for dinner but I do remember getting one of the flatbreads to start. For around $13 you get this huge portion that you can split as an appetizer. I went with my neighbor and we both loved loved loved it.

Living in Downtown is great, and in my opinion, the addition of this restaurant makes it jusssst a little better. Will be back for sure.

They stopped serving Blue Bottle. I'm heartbroken.

They did however, start serving Handsome Coffee that's a little more local. It's good stuff. Same great staff.

Max is adorable, and the other girl that works there is absolutely stunning. Come to think of it, the entire staff at this location is amazing.

They serve Blue Bottle Coffee, and only Blue Bottle. It's like I live in San Francisco again.

Limited seating, but I don't care. It's good, and they're cute. Love.

Until there is an express train that gets me from Downtown LA to LAX, this will do.

Clean, pretty quick (depending on traffic, I don't know why they just don't take Grand during rush hour instead of taking the 110...) and courteous drivers. The easiest way to get to the airport without bugging your friends or paying a grip for a cab.

This is a neighborhood restaurant. Might be a little more expensive than your typical neighborhood restaurant, but omg, it's so worth it.

When it's busy, it's loud in there. I mean, super loud, so prepare yourself for that. There are little places throughout the restaurant where it's a little bit quieter. Because of the noise, may not be idea for a first date, but good for a place for couples or just friends who just want to eat good food.

The food we ordered was phenomenal. It was cooked perfectly with the most interesting flavors perfectly blended into something your mouth will love for days. --- I ordered the halibut with some kind of orange zest on it. I have never had fish prepared this way and it was wonderful. the potatoes and vegetables were perfect too. The portion size was also all that I needed. Not too much, not too little. My date ordered the Filet Mignon and it was spiced and cooked wonderfully.

The server was definitely french and made great suggestions. Service overall is quick and to the point. Just what I like.

I suggest you make a reservation so that you can reduce your wait time when it's busy. Be patient for your food as it does take a little time for it to come out, and the corkage fee is $15, just fyi.

Bon apetit!
