This Brewpub does serve up some tasty Organic beer creations- specifically the IPA,which is the only one I've tried. I thought it was a nice balance of strong hoppy flavor. I've become accustomed to double IPA'S so the flavor of Fish Tale's offering came off a bit muted to my tastes. It was a little pricey for a pitcher if I remember correctly, not enough to deter me from visiting again, but I may be ordering just pints so I can try more beer next time.
The menu had a decent offering of bar food. The salad on the special board was something involving a salmon pate and asparagus and sounded delicious. They also offered a smoked salmon clam chowder. My honey and I opted to split something, and a plate of Nachos was the most attractive option. We ordered it with beef and guacamole. It was a pretty good portion of nachos, but it was a tad bit pricey for the add-on's. I definitely got spoiled by amazing HH nachos at another establishment so most other nachos pale in comparison. But these were generously loaded with plenty of olives, black beans, tomatoes, onions, and a huge portion of jalapenos, which would turn me off normally. My boyfriend, however, thinks jalapenos are their own separate food group and eats them like candy.
We will be back to try Fish Tale again, although with prices in line with what they are, it won't be a super regular stop for us.

As a disclaimer, I remember Sorelli being much different when I was in high school. They used to sponsor some of Terrace's sports, and there was a little student-made commercial that would air every morning during the student run tv channel that morning announcements came across. The girl that did the commercials was someone I grew up with, but I found it SOOOO annoying that we had to watch it every.single.day. "You haven't had GOOD pizza, until you've had SORELLI pizza" (capitalized to show how she enunciated those two words).
Well, the location is the same, but the pizza has definately changed. For around 20 bucks, you can get a 15 inch, literally about a million pound-weight pizza with an ungodly thick crust and tons and tons of fresh toppings. They have a pretty expansive menu, but I think if you're going to an establishment that has "pizza" in the namesake, you should start with that. Be warned, the pies are so massive, they take a long time to cook.
Other reviewers have mentioned that they have changed their recipe, while this seems true as far as I remember how their pizza tasted about 12 years ago, the sauce is still garlicky, the crust is crunchy and massive, and I noticed they DO have a thin crust (which I will opt for next time). Two pieces of their massive regular crust large had me stuffed to the gills, and I didn't even finish all my crust! The regular crust is a little too intense for me- I've been low carb since last year, and although pizza is a definate splurge, the amount of breadiness of the crust left me feeling too full and literally ill- through no fault of the pizza, it was just too much bread. Carb overload.
The best thing about Sorelli in my opinion? They put Kielbasa on their pizzas. KIELBASA. It's like music to this Polish girl's ears, and it was some damn tasty ku-bassi at that. The Trojan Special comes with Pepperoni, Sausage, Pineapple, and aformentioned Kielbasa, and is covered in tons of cheese. It was divine, next time i'd order it sans sausage, i'm not a huge fan of sausage pizza and it was a bit overkill with the other ingredients. Overall, a great value, as I hate spending 20+ bucks on dough cheese and sauce, but the pies here at Sorelli are definately worth that. Enough food for two days worth of enjoyment, even. A large could feed a hungry family of four no problem. And- they have Ninkasi IPA available in 22 oz bottles. Win.

I hate to be a stick in the mud towards a local hometown establishment (founded in good ol' MLT, WA), but my first experience at the brewpub this weekend came off a tad underwhelming.
I've never been a huge fan of their beer. It never tastes carbonated enough to me. Every beer I have tried from them over the years, has been totally blah to my beer-buds. I was hoping this would change, as they had a promising looking 2 Pint Double IPA on the menu. I was titillated with excitement, only to find that they were out of my selection.
I tried the regular IPA. Tasted watered-down and extremely bitter, even for an IPA. I tried the Copper Ale. Marginally better than the IPA, but still, lacking the carbonation. The beer tasted flat. FLAT. It's just one of those things. I guess they just make all their beer that way, because as mentioned before, I've drank many an offering over the years.
We were there for a party, and we all ordered food. I was pleased to see that they had a Saturday dining special, for Two beers, One burger or sandwich, and you get the second burger or sandwich free. It was a really good deal. Price-wise, Big E is definitely where it should be as far as beer goes. Regular prices for food were straddling the line towards being a little high.
The food wasn't spectacular, as a matter of fact there were a lot of complaints around the table about portion size, quality (chicken sandwiches were a tad overcooked) and choice. A few sides were wrong on our orders, as well. In my experience, I tried the blue cheese burger. It was tasty meat, i would have preferred to know that the "blue cheese" was actually blue cheese dressing and not just straight up blue cheese, with a side of underwhelming coleslaw. It was edible, it tasted fine, it just wasn't what I expected.
Big E could do a few more things with it's menu to make this spot a must-stop in Lynnwood. But I suppose as brewpubs come, it fills the need. I just wish I was more excited and impressed with it.

This space is small inside, but features a large outdoor seating area, apparently they do a little bonfire thingy in the summer.
They have a wheelchair ramp out front.
This space would go down in history as the first time I ever consumed an Old Fashioned (fruit not muddled). I'm not a bourbon drinker, but this drink was definitely perfectly balanced, and actually, it was fabulous. I also had a really good whiskey sour.
The Dark and Stormy my date ordered wasn't so good, so we sent it back in favor of another Old Fashioned. They apologized and brought us what we asked for, no problem.
I am NOT a whiskey drinker. NOTNOTNOT. And due to the influence of these very strong cocktails, I was talked into trying what I was told was one of the most vile tasting liquors out there. I thought it was called cyanide, and it coulda been named that for sure. The bartender was more than happy to provide me a tiny tiny amount of Cynar to try, apparently it is a sweet Italian liqueur that's infused with herbs-and artichokes. I guess they mix it with Coca Cola.
It was pretty nasty.
This is a really good spot for a date. I browsed the rotating beer taps and menu- They have a lot of awesome beer choices for such a small bar, and the Yard features mexi-fare type dishes. I'll be back to try them again in the near future.
