If you've had Jimmy John's before then there isn't really anything to explain. just another location closer to where you live...
if you haven't been here before it's definitely worth checking out; the service is great and you won't be kept waiting for more than a second.
A few of my favorite things about this place is the fact that most things on the menu seem to be pretty healthy. They also deliver which is a big help if you are in a time crunch.
This JJ's has fresh tea made daily which is a nice touch (it would be even better if they had fresh lemons, or any lemons for that matter, I'd even take a lime)
anyways if you haven't been you should check it out, just don't go when I'm there cause I'd hate to have to start waiting..
oh yea, dont go there with a group because there isn't really any seating (at best enough for you and one more, at worse you'll have to take it elsewhere)

If you are in town and it's a beach day you have to go in and check this place out... It's best on the weekend during the day..
when you walk up you will be greeted (to use the term liberally) by a fairly angry bouncer who scrutinize your Drivers License (even if you are clearly over age) for a few minutes before he reluctantly lets you in; once inside you will notice the strong smell of pine sol, I swear they must own stock in this stuff.
If it's busy you may want to check out the back bar for much quicker service.
Also if you ask real nice the bartender will give you a cup of Pepperidge Farm goldfish.
at any rate, the place is cool and if you're in town you've gotta check it out....

Great food here..
It's one of my parents favorite places to eat so I always end up here a few times when I am in town.. If the weather is nice it's great to sit outside and people watch.. It faces the front of Saks 5th Avenue so there is plenty of interesting stuff to look at walking in and out.. Was there today and this already huge guy ordered an entire plate of french fries for his meal.. Anyways back to the review, specials are always good and service has always been great. on weekend nights they often have a live guitarist who is good.. Would definitely recommend, it's one of Fort Myers top spots.

This is definitely the in place to see and be seen in Fort Lauderdale, Friday and Saturday night are good, some times too good and a bit crowded.
If you have a Lamborghini or Ferrari there is plenty of room to park up front, otherwise I think the Valet will pull your car somewhere out of sight.
Seriously, the place is cool. The music is chill inside the "O Lounge" and the outside fire pit is pretty cool during Florida's version of winter.
Food is pretty good, American cuisine with a bit of a twist, I heard that they hired a past chef from Hustons.
So, put on your finest duds and get down to YOLO, because it's true, You Only Live Once.

Great place for any meal.
Dirty Bird Chicken sandwich is my favorite, enjoyed with a nice Abita Purple Haze draft.
Chicken wings are a great appetizer, especially when they are covered in fresh garlic.
Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a chill place to get some food and maybe have a beer or two.
Place is a little hard to find, just look for the Winn Dixie on the right side of US 1, just north of the tunnel, Shuck is on the far right of the same complex.
Also, make sure that you don't talk on your cell phone inside the restaurant, that bothers them enough that they put signs up everywhere.

No trip to Fort Myers is complete without a trip to the City Tavern.
The City Tavern sits in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers across a parking lot from the River.
Place is a classic bar that features live music most nights and a good jukebox on others. The place can get a little smokey, but it's a bar so I guess you'd expect that.
Kind of strange but they have individual bathrooms for each urinal, so stage fright won't be an issue.

Food here is great and very authentic BBQ place, everything on the menu is good.
However, the place is rather small and not that much seating, you might want to try it during off peak hours on your first trip.
But you definitely have to check it out if you've never been.. Just follow the smell of burning hickory.

Eat here a lot.. either delivery or at the store.. good stuff.
sometimes deliveries get screwed up but getting better. order very clearly.

Good breakfast... good food all around. Place is dark inside and can get a bit cramped at times but I would definately recomend.

The place is hard to find and different from what you might be used to seeing around Lauderdale as it is located in one half of a small duplex.
The menu consists mainly of sandwiches and soups/salads but they are always great. They will have about 5 lunch choices each day and they are all written on a chalkboard inside the restaurant.
The place is small and it's best to go earlier rather than later as some of the lunch items will sell out.
They only take cash so come prepared.
I would recommend going but don't tell everyone that I told you too as I don't want to get in trouble for outing this hidden gem, and I don't want to walk in and not be able to find a seat.
