Whoa. The largest selection of all vegetarian fast indian food ever. They play Bollywood movies in the dining area and they have free filtered water.
The lady is really nice, it seems like a family run place. Everybody was friendly. Their kids were hanging around being kids. Very low key and casual. It's also an Indian grocery store.
I will probably return sometime.

Live music nearly all the time. Cheap drinks and great decor. Dark red. Artful nudey paintings. Some patrons are over-friendly but all in all not that big of a problem. You will never *not* find a parking space.
They have cool booths of many flavors plus a very long bar.

I defy you to find a better dive bar. Cheap drinks, old dark wood interior. It's never crazy even on the weekends. Only old dudes behind the bar, that's keepin it real. Decent oldschool CD jukebox (that sadly skips sometimes). Free popcorn, always plenty of parking.

Came on a Sat and it was chill. $4 rum and cokes served by a dude who has been through some shit in life. Punk rock vibe. Old show flyers plastered on the bathroom walls. Lighting was a bit on the bright side due to the pool table. Decent seating. Not impressed with the jukebox choices (new-ish pop country). Had a decent time.
$4 rum and coke. Decent music to choose on jukebox (Henrix, CCR, Otis Redding - "Tramp"). Older mexican lady bartender with reading glasses, very cute. The lighting is a little bright for my taste and I prefer seats with back support (is that too much to ask?).

Seeing a film at the dollar theater helps you in that if it sucks you didn't lose much money and the really bad movies never go to the dollar theater or they disappear after a week.
I used to think the crowds are louder and that the projection is more often out of focus here but it's still not worth paying $12 for a movie I might not like. And even at the "normal" movie theaters people are loud.
I DO NOT like the new seats they've install, pleather and tall at a weird angle and they don't lean back at all. If it wasn't for that they'd get a fiver.

I'm standing up for this place and it's cheap, late night single slices of pizza.
After Disneyland with a lady friend we got a slice of artichoke and cheese pizza and it was like $2.50. It wasn't sitting in a display under lamps, it was pretty nearly cooked to order and served up fresh.
This place is open till 3am and it's in Anaheim (miracle in and of itself) and even that late the delivery service is happening so you know the food will be pretty much as good as it gets at the place.
Truth is this place does crazy tourist business so they could take or leave locals... but I still think they got a good thing going.
I would defy you to name another place in OC you can get a cheap slice around 2am. This is why they get 5 stars.

This place has all kinds of options under $2. Plus it's such an exotic oasis in the middle of suburban Anaheim... ladies with hijabs and dudes... uh wearing whatever they want. It's fun.
