They were parked outside my building today so I thought I would try it out for lunch and I was not disappointed.

The line was a bit long when I got there around noon but moved pretty quickly.  I ordered the miso ginger chicken tacos and the pork sliders.  Both were absolutely amazing!

I will definitely be returning for another great meal!

This is THE place to go get ice cream in Seattle.  The lines are always long but don't let that deter you - it is worth the wait for the ice cream and homemade waffle cones.

As far as the ice cream selection, it's pretty minimal but the choices are superb.  There are the classics like Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry but there is always a rotating selection of interesting flavors such as Balsamic Strawberry, Cardamom and Scout Mint.  I highly recommend the Scout Mint!

My only complaint is the overall lack of speed when dealing with a large crowd.  I understand that it is part of the atmosphere for there to be a line but there is always room for improvement.

When I walk into a place that doesn't accept credit cards and forces me to use their ATM it's an automatic two rating in my book.  The fate of their rating then is left on the food and experience.

With both factors on the line, the service was the only factor that was acceptable.  I'm not a fan of restaurants with salad bars as it reminds me of a Golden Corral buffet.  Any good, well-respecting restaurant would not have a salad bar.

When the main course arrived, I was not impressed with the swordfish.  I've had better on the mainland in Seattle and I was expecting better considering this was an island known for great seafood.

Granted this place may have great steaks (since that's their namesake) but I didn't leave the mainland for a steak!  Overall, probably the worst restaurant I've dined at while on the island.

Went here with a group for the late night happy hour that starts after 10PM.  We were not disappointed.  Almost all of the sushi is 50% off and is very delicious.  For those who might want to pass on the sushi, the late night drink specials are also fantastic.  I highly recommend this place for a quick bite before going out.

We noticed this place while walking around Waikiki so we decided to try it for lunch. There was a discrepancy between the menu on the street and the one at the table, which concerned me.

The sushi was fresh and delicious as well as the miso soup and edamame. Overall this place would probably deserve a higher rating but the menu price discrepancy is forcing me to leave it at three. Show owner comment »

I've been to this bar twice and it's pretty nice. I'm really a fan of the big comfy couches and the breeze blowing through the open area. The happy hour specials were pretty good and the food looked pretty tasty even though I only had drinks. Overall I'm satisfied with the place.

This course gets an average rating from me.  The course was pretty nice, but I have played on better for less money ($65 for the round).  I also found it disappointing that the restaurant was closed when we finished around 5PM.  Who closes the restaurant so you can't buy a brew after the round?

I did like how this course is pretty isolated, thus the influx of tourists is kept to a minimum.  Granted, I was a tourist, but getting away from Honolulu drastically reduces the crowds.

I would definitely return to this course, but I'm sure there are better options on the island for the same price.

While vacationing on the island we were tired of the cereal/bagels we bought for the week and wanted to go out for breakfast.  I found this little jewel using the iPhone and we went to go check it out.  We were not disappointed!

The first thing you will notice is that there is usually a long line of people waiting for a seat in their relatively small dining area.  This is not a problem as their solution is to put your name on the list for a seat then come take your order.  Once your seat is ready your food is ready as well.

I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns while the girlfriend ordered the famous banana pancakes.  Both were outstanding!  I highly recommend this place.
