It's chain restaurant sushi, so not the best sushi in the world, but it's affordable, and it's pretty good.
This new location at Ward Center is actually way better than the ones on Kapahulu and at Ala Moana because in addition to just having the usual suspects (spicy tuna, tamago, corn) going around on the conveyor belt, they also send around the higher-priced (black and silver plate) items -- we even spotted a rainbow roll going around this past weekend. It's a smart business model for them, because you as a customer are more likely to try something that's already available (rather than having to flag someone down to order it), even if it's pricey, but it's also cool for you as a customer because you may see something going around that you'd never even thought to try before. They even have DESSERTS and the kid-friendly sushi items (hot dog roll) going around on the belt, something I haven't seen at the other two restaurants.
Fun for groups and families.

One thing was real disappointing right off the bat: There was nowhere nearby to sit and enjoy your cupcake. I feel like they have enough room in the store for a counter and some bar stools, but there were none, nor were there any benches outside. In fact, there weren't even any benches at the nearby park (though, admittedly, this is not the bakery's fault).
Once my husband and I gave up and decided to eat in his car (booooo), I then became disappointed with the cupcake itself. The "buttercream" frosting was far too airy -- I prefer something rich and thick if I'm going to indulge -- especially when you consider that the cupcake filling was contrastingly too thick. As many others here have mentioned, the cake itself was dry and not entirely flavorful. The lemon filling in my lemon cupcake was too tart (and not in a good way) and looked like something from the top of one of those funky jelly donuts. It's not that anything was inherently BAD about the cupcake aside from the fact that it was dry and the frosting was airy, but it's just that I couldn't find anything GOOD to say about it, either.
As the name implies, Cupcake & Things sells a number of products aside from just cupcake(s), including parfaits, sheet cakes, brownie bites (I think -- what appeared to be brownie bites was not adequately labeled), cookies. I'd be OK with this concept if they could at least get the cupcake right first. Judging from my experience with the headlining product, I wouldn't even bother to sample the others.
