For 10 weeks Northside Hospital was my 2nd home. My son was finally healthy enough to come home on New Years Day but throughout the course of our stay, the staff did a really good job prepping us and giving us advice.
There are more hoops to jump thru for discharging preemies but I understand they gotta do it.

My wife recently gave birth here. Our baby came out very premature but the Northside staff were very competent and on top of things. My son is currently under the watchful eye of the NICU and is improving everyday.
As a first time parent with a preemie, I was frantic to say the least. However, all the nurses and doctors did a great job of explaining every procedure to me and keeping me at ease. On Thursdays, they also host a support group for parents of premature babies.
The only complaint I have is that the only late night food on premises is a McDonalds. Personally, I find that's an odd choice considering we associate hospitals with health.
I'll admit it, I'm a Pho Ho. I get it anywhere and everywhere. I like it hot, spicy, meaty and full of flavor.
Not sure if my taste buds are acting up lately but pho everywhere else just seems bland to me...except for Dai Loi. They've been pretty consistent throughout the years and I can't say I've ever been disappointed.
This place is a no frills, hole in the wall but their pho is delicious. It's a sit down, order, shut up and eat kinda place.

This particular Mozart's is next to a Ramen shop that my wife happens to like. On this last occasion, we came with a friend and had coffee with dessert (Tiramisu, Chocolate Cake, and blueberry mousse cake).
It was an ok experience as the 3 stars suggests. The cakes weren't as good as I as remembered. It could've been that we walked in around 9:00 PM and the batch we ate was made earlier in the day and tasted more stale. However, what I really like about all Mozart's are the prepackaged breads and pastries. I don't know what they're called but my favorites are these long crispy sticks lightly coated with honey.
The server/cashier was friendly and service was prompt.

Interesting little wing shop. I tried to go in once on a random weeknight but they were closed. I think at the time they were only open in the evenings. I was on my way home last week and decided to try my luck. Thankfully, they were open.
Wing Max has a bunch of Korean items on their menu (which I haven't tried) but I was in the mood for wings. So far I've had the Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, and Korean Style wings. I have to admit I was a little surprised that the place didn't suck and the wings were decently sized. As for taste, they were all good but my favorites were definitely the Korean Style ones. I'm very partial to spicy flavors.

Whenever I go back to NYC to visit family and friends, I like to travel on Delta because their terminal seems more updated. The food court isn't filled with the usual chains, there are actually decent food options. There's a gourmet burger place, and a sandwich shop. I think there's even an Italian restaurant too.
It's been a few years since I went to the other terminals but I recall the seats and carpets being really worn down. Imagine stepping off the plane and finding yourself in a airport circa 1981.
I would give LGA 4 stars if it weren't for the delays. They are notorious for it. I understand it's a smaller airport so it comes with the territory. What I hate is the mad rush to get us on the plane just to get on an hour long line to take off.

I cannot rave enough about the L'Arrosto (The Roast). It's one of the best dishes I've had all year.....and I eat out a lot!

My dad introduced this place to me on a random weeknight. There was only 2 of us so we didn't order alot....maybe 3 or 4 dishes but those 4 dishes were excellent. I'm a big fan of bold flavors and spicy dishes so I gravitate towards Szechuan cuisine.
I recently came back with a group of voracious Yelpers (10 ppl) and ordered 1 of everything. Well, not really but it felt like it. Like most Chinese restaurants, the dishes are meant to be shared family style so i recommend coming with a group of at least 4 to get a variety of dishes.
My favorite dishes are the eggplant stuffed with shrimp and beef slices with Szechuan peppercorns.
I also heard from the owner/manager that they will add more hot pot dishes in the winter.

My wife and I come here when we're shopping along Pleasant Hill and pheel like a quick bowl of pho. The last time I was here I tried the beeph stew with egg noodles. To my surprise it wasn't halph bad.
This place is super phast and the phood is decent. My last trip clocked in at around 20 mins.

Definitely one of the better buffets I've been to (outside of Vegas). The place is relatively new so everything still looks new and fresh. On this particular trip, I took my mom for her birthday. She is the Queen of AYCE.....she put away 6 full plates of food and 2 plates of fruit and dessert. I was only able to take down 3 plates and she trash talked me the rest of the night. I felt I got my money's worth though.
I tried a little of everything but the most memorable for me were the cooked fish and crab legs. Sushi was adequate and was fully stocked for the most part.
I felt the staff could've been faster with the plate collection but it wasn't too bad of a wait.
All in all, it was a good experience.

This particular location is new so everything looked fresh and the staff was pretty upbeat.
On this occasion, I got the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and onions. My wife got the Classic burger. Mine was juicy and the veggies were nice and crisp. I really liked the egg bun too. I can't believe I'm discussing the buns, but I gotta give credit where it's due.
All in all, it was a fine burger and I'm happy to have a non-chain burger joint in our neighborhood. I didn't love it but it wasn't bad either...hence the 3 stars.
