Everything went swimmingly until I approached check-out. By now, I (and other yelpers with similar comments) really should know better to avoid the pavlovian gut-wrentching reaction to this process. Somehow I found myself with a full basket of $70 dollars of groceries (that part is fine, the packaged food and fresh produce here is good), but the snide woman at the apparent "express" checkout totally called me out in front of "the children of the corn" that formed behind me.
Here's a tip lady - obviously you could tell it was my first time at this location and instead of announcing that I should wander off somewhere else to check out, you could have just pointed in the direction I needed to be. Again, the robotic, conformist children of the corn that were behind me in line were no help either.
To note, the check out woman in the supposed "real" line for people actually shopping for food (and not buying niblets to munch on while giving their dog a hot-water enema) was very nice.
I say "eff" Whole Foods all together and stay with Fresh Direct.

The majority of people shopping here get right in your way, cut you off in the isle, are rude and are obnoxious during an already bad check-out experience (and I'm glad others are yelping about it.) The only saving grace here is the staff who probably hate the spolied bastards shopping here even more than I ever will. In support of buying decent food and supporting the workers, there is nothing good to say about this location.

He did everything the right way, and listened to what I had been through and was FULLY capable of fixing the messed up work in my account.
He was very patient with my questions, and walked me through my options and went step-by-step to get me back to having a phone and getting things good-to-go.
