Pro tip: exit on Stevens Creek because there's so much traffic coming into the parking lot that you'll have no problem trying to turn right to get out. Otherwise, if you exit on Stelling, you have to make U-ey if you want to get back onto the freeway.

The fact that you can eat peanuts and throw them on the ground is sort of novel (at least for me, because I've never otherwise been to somewhere where you throw your peanut shells on the floor), but it seems like a safety hazard.
I'd rather just have a burger, fried zucchini and a soda at George's Drive-In on Magnolia.

As someone who only visits Riverside a few times a year, Yard House is a welcome addition to the new installments at the Galleria-- I never thought there would ever be a Cheesecake Factory, Elephant Bar and P.F. Chang's in Riverside.
There's something about the ice from George's that makes me wish I lived across the street. It's small, crunchy (it's not as hard as regular freezer ice) and pellet shaped, which makes it perfect to chew on.
Also, if you like fried veggies, make sure to order the fried zucchini or mushrooms because both are tasty and their ranch sauce cannot be beat!

George's Drive-In has been a staple on visits to my grandma's house in Riverside since I was a little girl. Their sandwiches and burgers are all really good as well as their fried mushrooms, zucchini, onion rings and french fries. The burger combo is such a deal- a soda (with the good crunchy ice) burger and fries for like $5. What's even better is that George's is family owned and operated. :)
There is a courtesy computer next to the front desk with IE and a few other Microsoft applications, which is convenient if you travel sans laptop.
The Holiday Inn Express offers a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning with some hot foods in warming trays, cereal, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee and hot cinnamon buns.
Considering we were in around 2:30 and out by 9, Holiday Inn Express was definitely a lifesaver during our little crisis this Christmas.

My one complaint would be that after moving our car from outside the 76 in Lost Hills to outside of the Holiday Inn Express where we stayed overnight, the driver's side rim was scratched.

I've come here since I was younger and the food is consistently good. My mom always used to bring us here after shopping at Kinokuniya for Japanese math and writing books. I used to come here after basketball games (against the Enchentees or Ardenettes) or tournaments in the city too.
The lunch special is a great deal (before 4 or 5PM). Mostly consists of 2 choices- ramen, udon or zaru soba and your choice of California rolls, curry, 5 pieces of sushi and something that looked like chirashizushi but only with maguro.
I've never ordered a salad here (because at most Japanese restaurants you either get one with your entree or you don't eat one at all) but Dave K. ordered one when we ate here on Sunday and for $3 I was really impressed by its size.
Minus 1 star because it's not wheelchair friendly.People thought this was:

I was in the neighborhood for a dental cleaning today and stopped by a little before noon. While there were only 3 or 4 customers checking out, there were at least 10 or 12 customers browsing through the aisles. It was easy to find what I was looking for, but the tool set I wanted (4-piece wood carving tool set for $6.99) was sold out. Initially, I waited for this salesperson who was talking to someone who I think was her boyfriend, because she said, "Don't go yet!" After a few minutes, I gave up and asked this other person for help, to which he said he'd be right with me. 5 minutes later, I saw him walk back toward where I was standing and to the other end of the store. I finally asked the flirty girl for help to see if they had any of the 4-piece wood carving sets left in stock. She told me there were 3 in the store, and that meant they were probably all sold out. I was told that I could have a rain check if the item was on sale (which it wasn't) then asked if she could check the back room, she said OK, walked away and never came back.

- Dr. Engler knows about Yelp and Twitter (Hi!)
My first visit to see Dr. Engler was in October 2008, when I had a consultation for the scratch test. After 12 years of not eating shellfish because of a bad allergic reaction, I thought I should take advantage of my health insurance and finally get tested. Dr. Engler and the R.N. were able to quell my fear of the scratch test by showing me the tools and vials of allergens which would be used and tested on my back. I'm not sure what I was so afraid of, because it really wasn't that bad! What I thought for TWELVE YEARS was an allergy to shellfish turned out to be a severe allergy to dust mites!

Sometimes when I talk about my allergies or asthma, I feel like a crazy person. Dr. Engler reassured me that he's seen many patients like me, which really put me at ease. I never realized how impaired my breathing was until my spirometry measurements (lung capacity) and exhaled nitric oxide breath test (airway inflammation for asthma) were taken.
Given my history and everything I told Dr. Engler, his #1 recommendation to me was immunotherapy (allergy shots). I'm not a fan of shots, and decided to go the inhaler and nasal spray route. If I took my medications as prescribed (2x daily), I'm sure there would be a marked improvement in my breathing. BUT I only took my inhaler and nasal spray a total of maybe 10 times in the past few months, so I didn't feel any better or worse.
LESSON OF THE DAY: I should have listened to Dr. Engler's recommendation in the first place, because I'm getting my first allergy shot next week!
